Fix The simple stuff (Be excellent)

Just a bucket list of simple stuff that will not ever make it on the CSM list cause individually they are too small. Perhaps even collectively. But, i need a place to whine. These are all things i consider unfinished stuff rather than upgrades, or bugs (well no exploitable bugs). If possible I'll edit this top post as i run across more. If I can't, than not being able to edit the top post is the first thing on the list. :P

1. P Is a sorry representation of :P.

2. The Blinking Freaking Bloomy Wallet.
  • The settings selection for blinking don't always work. In particular the blink on order changes versus blink on transaction changes, even more specifically if i update an order the BFBW goes off with just transactions checked.
  • The highlighted wallet and tabs only clear when clicked on, not when the information is viewed via pressing the "Load" button.

3. The "character sheet" button becomes highlighted when I have no skill being trained on the character I log in on to even if a character on that account IS training a skill.
  • Perhaps even more annoying, the big screen in the captains cabin displays an "alert" about not having anything being training and admonishes you for not having one in training - while training a different character on that account.

4. The inaccessible compare tool.
  • If you don't know where this tool is, you can't be blamed. It can only be turned on while viewing the info screen for an item, with the variations tab selected (still with me?) and happen to look at the very bottem of the window. There is a button labeled "compare" - you have to select it. O yea, - and you have to be viewing an item in the info screen that actually has "variations" - more on that later.

  • The below stuff with the Arrow has been fixed Big smile
    Arrow
  • The only two ways i've found to add an item to the compare tool is to:
  • Arrow(a) Own the item and drag it to the compare tool.
Arrow(b) Click that compare button noted above (which has the added annoyance of adding ALL the different modules if you only wanted one)
ArrowThis means that if an item does not have a "variation" and you don't own it there is no way to get it on the compare tool.
ArrowIts a shame that this otherwise excellent tool is so hard to add things to. You ought to be able to drag things to it from the market screen, contracts, etc.

    5. "That Item is not stack-able" - so i'm not going to move it bug
  • While dragging something from one cargo container to another, and you happen to hit the same none stackable item in the destination container you get this bug. If you have lots of one item that are all non-stackable (bpc for instance) this can be very annoying. It should transfer to destination container anyway.

6. Market list (from clicking on a category) does not always display the correct "Best price in Region/System/Station".
  • This has been around so long that perhaps its a feature and not a bug?

6. In the market browser when you click on what i call a category list (as opposed to a folder) you get all the items that make are in that category. (scripts for example, located under Ammunition and Charges). This is helpful except for one minor detail, the "Best price in region/solar system/station (depends on your range filter settings) is more often wrong than correct.

I can't even figure out how it calculates what number to display. For instance I'm in amarr (system) and right now and its saying that the best price in the region is 224M for a focused warp Disruption (1000x the next sell order).

This bug has been around for as long as i've been playing the game - about 5 years.

Half of something on my list got fixed!!! (see item 4 top post), even perhaps the major part of something . I'm thrilled LolBig smileBear

Now you can drag things from the market to the tool.

Now if only we could open that compare tool somewhere a little more conveniently, it would be a whole item!

Agreeing with all. One more thing: UI window positions/pinning. I pin a window in dock. Undock, and that window is somewhere else. Everything rearranges itself, and every time there's a patch? BOOM! Back to defaults. If there were like one or two different windows, this'd be okay. There are like eleventy billion windows, tho. Needs fixin' BAD, has for years.

This.

It's frustrating to no end to have to shuffle around several cargo windows every time you undock. It can't be that hard to fix, in honesty.

Also, another problem (or well, rather a question);

Why is there no "Keep multiple targets at distance" option? I'd like to be able to keep myself a relative distance between a asteroid and, say, a Orca, without having to approach several alternative targets until I hit the right spot.

It's these simple problems that the players love to see fixed, and it makes the game that much better. Win-Win. There's no reason not to do these things, so surely there is only one course of action for CCP.
