I don't recall anything particularly notable. Some DEVS might have flown around in their spiffy Polaris frigs -- but that's done at other times, too. Effectively a non-event.

Was there anything last year? Two years ago it was an announcement of pets to be released with Incarna, including ones you could turn into cyborgs and ride about on like they were Segways.

This was before the actual release of Incarna and we were all wondering what content it would come with. As CCP had given no clues the nagging suspicion (proved true) was virtually no content. So one of the best comments on the April Fools Dev blog was "Your April fools joke is content for Incarna?"

I second the 'incursion in Jita' idea, along with an inversion of high and low sec systems (so a system that is presently 0.3 becomes 0.7, and vice versa).

As for nullsec, just give some rats the ability to light cynos. Even if the cynos cannot be used at all, utter chaos will ensue.

How about randomly changing where all the stargates lead, and change it every hour. ;)

And yes.. random I mean totally random, so high sec systems, sov systems, low sec systems, all of them could be connected to any other one.

Imagine the chaos when suddenly every system is connected to totally different ones by region, constellation, etc.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

Relocate everything in the Jita station to an inaccessible system in the Jove empire for the day.

Collect all the tears in bottles and sell them on the EVE merchandise store when (if) it comes back.

Change the server names in the log in screne for the main/test clients so they show the name of the other client instead of the correct one...see how many of us notices. It would be even funnier if you found a way to remotely change people's shortcut properties to launch the opposite clients, but the first way just sounds easier to do.

Good one and quite true.

All CCP needs to say without giving any details is "New Game content may be active on 4-1-13". Capsuleers would be searching everywhere, trying to find out what it was - which is nothing of course.

Then on 4-2-13 CCP tells everyone - "April Fools".
