Alrighty new peeps.

As there has been a lot of isk begging and asking how to make isk spam threads recently, I'll highlight a couple of things.

First of all please please please STOP MAKING THEM (use the search function, there's been so many you shouldn't be asking the same thing over and over, hell there's even 3-4 threads about this very topic on the first page.)

Also no one is gonna give you isk if you beg for it, go scam in jita or smth, that will likely have more chance of success.

Now the helpfull bit:

Check isk the guide for info about eve, and what/how to do it. (eg. mining, manufacturing, pvp, incursions, mission, exploration, wormholes, the lot)

A clear and easy to understand chart on What to do in eve

Wanna do missions and survive: Mission guide

Now please stop with the useless unconstructive spam threads.
Thanks

Edit: fixed some minor spelling oversights
Edit 2: deleted the 'spam' from the title due to request from posters. Original title read: Asking for isk/ how to make isk spam threads

You're a trial, you're not supposed to be buying plex with is.

In any case I have told you one of the few ways you can potantially make it.
I told you to scam jita (you'll have to be creative, as you can't use contracts), alternatively you can go gank plex haulers, or you can infiltrate a corp and steal stuff.

Everything is in the post I made, but if you are too lazy to click a link or actually read, eve may not be for you.
Not to mention the 100 or so 'how do I make isk' posts which you can find by using the search function.
In addition there are plenty of free to play MMO out there, so if you don't wish to pay for your game, you don't need to be here.

I cannot help those who are unwilling to make even the slightest effort.

I was about to give you 3/10 on that troll attempt, but, hey, it worked!

P.S. If someone likes risks, one can try to play some lottery. Ofc, as a trial account, not sure they can participate directly.

True. Though I agree with the OP.
Sometimes there are already threads open with the same question and instead of reading those the new lazy people just open a new thread... already tired of them and actually will just block anybody who is clearly too stupid to scroll down or use a search engine. This makes my free time available to new people who genuine want to learn stuff.

The OP is irrelvant.

These same types of posts will be posted no matter what anyone does, says, or how many stickies are applied to the forums. This is how it is in every video game forum since the dawn of video game forums.

So it is .. so shall it be.

You shall not defeat the noob question posters.

Perhaps, but then the OP makes an effort to improve certain things. Plainly giving up will change quite a bit less than making an effort (even though the change will be marginal at best)

As far as troll attempts go, I'm crap at sarcasm where typed out text is concerned, so troll away, I'll reply as though you are being genuine.

You might have better luck by changing the title of your thread to something a new player would seek out for answers. The condescending content doesn't really help either.

Eventually if the thread gains popularity with new players it will be stickied.

At any rate good luck with your quest !

A post like this is not a bad idea, but yea i agree that the title and how the post is worded could have been changed a bit to make it a bit less..hostile is the best word i can think about atm to describe it.

I can see how it can get aggrevating having the same question show up atleast 3 times a week, especially since they all seem to evolve around the idea that "Hey i want to be able to pay using PLEX's right now!!" which is unrealistic (in my opinion) for a new player. But as someone else mentioned.. This is how gamer forums are, and i doubt any amount of stickies or posts will solve the issue or encurage people to just read the previus posts.

So short version..I like the idea behind the post, but the way its titled and worded makes it seem more like its trashing down on people, not intended to help, and i think all it will do is make new players feel that they shouldent post "any" questions since they are likely to annoy someone and get hostile responses because they dident do the "proper" research.
And when it comes to research.. In EVE information changes on a regular basis, and a lot of people give bad advice just for the "lolz", so i can fully understand that for someone who is new they wont know were to go to get accurate, up to date information as easely as the older player base can.

Ow, please this isn't hostile by any stretch of the imagination. Strongly worded, yes, could it have been more timid, yes. Should I have been? Maybe. But I'd rather it get read and have people take something from it, than everyone ignoring it.

Also I do not mean to trash new people in general (I love newbies), just the isk begging types who are too lazy to scroll down. I like helping people with questions (even repeatedly asked ones such as the orca hangers), this is just the one thing that bugs me.

Finally, it was not an unhelpful post and the main answers to the repeatedly posed 'how do I make isk?' question were included.
