Ganking really isn't peeveepee, I don't care what anyone says (if that's what you're asking about). There's really no skill, tactics, or style in just firing on someone that isn't fit to take you on. Don't be a wuss: shoot at people who are willing AND ABLE to shoot back.

You can try RvB and find a few people that'll help out... for me, the best way was to just dive into the deep end (Factional Warfare) and chat it up with other players, including those that just popped me. The whole ASB thing completely altered my peeveepee play style, for example, and without actually chatting with guys that popped my alts I never would have made the connection.

You can also try that popular noob corp; can't remember the name (no, not Eve Uni), but I hear a lot of people raving about it.
