Eve, Guild Wars 2 and Casual Play

So while I still like a lot of things about Eve, I think that a lot of us were blown away by some of the graceful systems implemented for casual play that exist in Guild Wars 2. These systems don't seem to detract from more involved play at all. Some things I would like to see in Eve:

1. Some form of standardized PvP; after months of learning different skills and learning the game in general, I still can't compete with T2 module users. Lots of new players, including friends I have tried to introduce to Eve, don't like this part of it.

2. Splitting of bounties and loot for everyone in PvE (drops likely needing to be adjusted but it would be worth it).

3. Dynamic grouping for ratting and missions in high sec (requires suggestion #2 to work).

4. Maybe some kind of event system where actions taken in one system or part of a system can influence what occurs elsewhere, either in that system or in neighboring systems. This system is impressive in GW2 over a small area, it would be really impressive to see even a simple version of it across the entire Eve universe.

But...Guild wars two, isn't EVE, and EVE is not guild wars two....It like comparing the taste between Swiss cheese and an orange.

1. Dueling with your friends who don't have skills either.

2. Click on the share rewards button when ending a mission while your in fleet. The bounties and security level gains are automatically shared equally.

3. This is not Diablo 3. 1 Ship wreck cannot drop loot for 10 players equally nor should it.

4. Its called Faction Warfare ad Incursions

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!

Dueling. Elsewise, you need to make do with what you got.

Already happens - mission or incursion bounties are split between the members. Other stuff like mining or shooting NPCs where there's no bounties is easy enough to do manually.

Could be interesting. Could be broken as ****. Tentative support.

Do "nullsec" and "emergent gameplay" mean nothing to you?

I like the part where OP thinks t2 items are an insurmountable advantage.

Ssssh. No one tell him about faction modules and the m4 modules that surpass their T2 variants.
