Что такое CSM? [подробнее]
Это Совет, который путем голосования избирают игроки, который одновременно представляет сообщество и является консультативным органом для CCP, которая предоставляет ценную информацию об изменениях и обновлениях в Eve Online.


Чем занимается CSM? [подробнее]
Предназначение CSM — представлять и обозначать интересы сообщества перед CCP, которые обсуждаются во время официальных (и неофициальных) встреч совета. Особенности и прозрачность саммитов совета, как и то, что доводится до сведения CCP, часто разнится при каждом переизбрании совета. А его члены могут тратить столько своих сил и времени на него, сколько пожелают.


Когда начинается голосование? [подробнее]
  • 22-29 марта - Предварительные выборы: Для прохода в следующий тур, все действительные кандидаты должны получить минимум 200 голосов.
  • 3-17 апреля - Выборы: объявляются кандидаты, прошедшие предварительные выборы, и начинается голосование!
  • 27 апреля - Обнародование результатов


Кто может голосовать?
Кто угодно с активным персонажем старше 30 дней, но вы можете проголосовать только 1 раз с 1 аккаунта. Голосование является тайным, и никому не будет известно, голосовали ли вы, и за кого.


Как голосовать?
Когда начнется голосование, вы сможете посетить специальную страничку на веб-сайте Евы, на которой будет представлен список всех доступных кандидатов, равно как и краткое описание их предвыборной платформы и ссылки на их сайты/блоги.

  • Предварительные выборы: избиратели отдают голос за одного выбранного ими кандидата.
  • Итоговые выборы: избиратели заполняют списки из 14 кандидатов, которые будут подсчитаны с использованием системы Райта


За кого мне голосовать? [подробнее]
Всё решать исключительно вам. Многие кандидаты создают тему на оффсайте в подфоруме Jita Park Speakers Corner, и у большинства есть свои сайты и бложики, которые помогут вам определиться. И конечно же, всегда можно воздержаться.


Кого обычно выбирают? [CSM7][CSM6][CSM5][CSM4][CSM3][CSM2][CSM1]
Исторически, в каждом Совете полно опытных игроков из крупных альянсов, которые намного лучше организованы для сбора голосов, чем независимые кандидаты. Обычно “нули” представлены больше всего, потом - лоусеки, и наконец хаи.

Победителями могут стать игроки из любой части мира; поддерживающие различные стили игры и/или группы (хотя часто - в диспропорции), и хотя бы одно-два места получают клоуны/тролли.

I am not exactly sure how a CSM would affect the game much. i am new to eve and i guess i am used to other nazi corporations doing whatever is good for the dollar and not for the game. this is interesting. is there a list of candidates?

A good place to start would be the Crossing Zebras interviews. CCP has asked us to write a 300 character brief of who we are and a 1000 character followup/expansion.

You will probably see those in a few days when the 'primaries start'

Issue or Concern: None really, just started playing. Love the sandbox design of it all! The only thing is that the starting missions for exploration kinda suck right now, I found them very lacking in the probe control. Its a massive game all in all, and still learning as I go!
