CSM Participation Reward Program
As an incentive to get new players to take part in the CSM, I have created a system to reward them and by taking part in the CSM and posting in this thread they will be made eligable. Included in this thread is an brief introduction to the CSM and the important dates for this year's election.

I remember being new; that's why I'm running for CSM. I want more people in this crazy game, creating content and making life interesting. We’ll get this if we give newbies better tools to survive. When I first started, I quit after being canflipped because I didn’t understand the game. I fell in love later when I resubbed with friends who taught me to PVP with cheap frigates. I got my first kill with their help and gained the resilience to survive the harsh universe of EVE. The newbie experience should include that kind of moment, giving everyone a foundation to work from and broaden their comfort zone.

Former CSM4 forcing small fixes to happen.
Former CSM5 initiating a game balance changes.
Russian candidate with a platform to focus CCP attention to solo players and small player group needs.

Awol Aurix
I'm Awol Aurix and the reason I'm running for CSM 8 is to keep this game we all love fun and interesting. While most of my game experience is with null sec I follow whats going on in all places of Eve. If elected my main focus will be game mechanics that need looking at to make them useful and less tedious for the players.


Rewards
Pilots who take part in this program may be eligible for rewards, the details of which are listed in the posts below.
Rewards will be paid out to eligible pilots in order of their posts until my stocks or isk runs out.
Please be patient with rewards as it takes some time to separate skills from large stacks and put into cans, and I am currently working on a another full time project in Real Life.

Update and Program Redesign
Due to less than expected participation and the fact that I've been nominated as a referral more than anyone else, I have redesigned the program. To balance these changes I have started making donations to corps and alliances that matched my original rulesets, removed the restriction on the nomination and issue rewards, increased the amount I donate to the newer players, and will compensate those older players who had already taken part in the now defunct options.

Player Survey - Active during csm voting
The following survey is ancillary to this thread but I hope you will take part. Your personal details or choices will not be made public, although the final results will. Players who take part in this survey and supply their in-game character names may be eligible for further rewards, details on this can be found in the fourth post below.

Read this thread and take part in the CSM by either voting, abstaining or engaging the candidates.
Post your support for this program so that I can verify your age and I will donate isk to help you buy books or a ship.


Issue/ Concern Bonus Reward
If you have a legitimate concern or issue specifically relating to new players that you'd like brought to the attention to the CSM post it in this thread and I'll make sure they see it. If your post gets more than 10 upvotes I will reward you by increasing any donation you are already due, and if you get more than 50 upvotes I will increase it again.


New Player Friendly Corporation Reward
Nominate your favorite corporation or Non-Profit organisation that is welcoming to new players and not associated with corporations or alliances with global influence and large bank balances.

The two highest nominated entities will receive a donation to support their new player fund.


Survey Participation Reward
30 to 90 day old players who have posted in this thread and have taken part in at least one of my surveys will receive the following skill pack or enough isk to buy them (they will need to include their character name on the last page of the survey so I can verify their age):



As it takes some time to make up these skill packs there may be a delay between taking the survey and receiving the books and I may send isk instead if I am short on time. If you receive one of these skill packs and you find that there are some you don't need, donate them to a corp member or player in your local that does.

I support efforts to raise awareness and engagement with the CSM process. Looks like a great program Apricot Baby keep up the good work!

CCP Fozzie is 268 days old, has changed corps once, when accepted into C C P 268 days ago on 6/20/2012 13:22:00 joining 477 other members. Not eligible for a donation

Imigo Montoya is 1271 days old, has changed corps 6 times, has been in 5 unique player corps, was accepted into Abraxsys 94 days ago on 12/14/2012 7:21:00 joining 108 other members, and on average has changed corps every 168 days. Not eligible for a donation



I'm sure if someone would like to donate one I could randomly pick someone from this thread to win it, might even be you. Considering I am probably going to have the most posts however, odds say it would be me :3
