Two characters setup differently in game

I have recently upgraded and built myself a new PC, it working well which is in itself an achievement for me.

Issue I have is that I have forgot how I set up the client so I had two icons, one for starting each of my characters. They both used the same install but each had their own settings whilst in game.

It involved creating a link of some sort to the file but allowed for seperate setups really.

As you may have guessed I'm not the most technical of PC users, so if some could link me a guide on how to do it or give me a simple step by step guide to it I'd be forever grateful
