You guys should have them join the HBC. Since your battlecry is "We suck at this game", which you stole from GSF.

This is madness!

EVE doesnt have madness, merely highly value oriented productive and innovate asset acquisition methods.
Some people confuse this for psychopathy, but they just cant see the subtle nuances that separate us from those uncultured mongrels.

oh look, another person that doesn't read dev blogs.

Blogs be damned, it shouldn't be necessary to go through the entire OV list manually every time some infinitesimal change is made. Fault rests squarely on CCP's shoulders if you ask me, should 'default' any new entries to OV and remove default at next patch if needed .. people will have saved settings by then and the issue will never present itself.

Devs are making huge strides, both in communication and actual development but QA is lagging behind. Perhaps a wee PR campaign to bring what they do to the attention of the masses so that they are too can get "We luvz U!" threads to encourage them to put in that little extra effort (lest they get the "DIAF!!!!" threads instead Big smile) .. not sure many people know just what QA is as it relates to Eve so might be a good idea to get some bloggage on it either way.

Attack Battlecruisers were automatically added to all Default Overviews (well, the ones that should see them).

Custom Overviews were unaffectd (as it should be. I shouldn't have to remove crap from overviews that don't need to see it just because CCP changed something.)

Your fault for not updating your custom settings.

Where would you prefer CCP have posted a minor change that only affects people who customize their overview other than a Dev Blog (i.e. The place where they announce just about all announced changes, big and small)?

Don't be ridiculous.

Any new overview objects should default to visible.
Then we know they are there and can turn them off if required with a right click.
Is it really that hard?

Lets keep on topic, and keep the insults out of it.

Freequently after a patch your overview settings are reset to default.
It's usually major patches, but it is always a good idea to check before undocking after any patch.

yea, because CCP knows exactly what you want to see when you enabled "Battlecruisers" in your old setup. So they simply split this option to 2 and enabled one of them and left second disabled. Roll

Another option: people have never wanted to see attack battlecruisers in overview (they didn't want to see it when they enabled "battlecruisers" and they haven't had other options) Roll

Anyway: great logic Lol

Since when does that right click save them for all of my custom overviews that shouldn't have ships (or that class of ships, or whatever new category) on them? The entire argument for having CCP intrude on your custom overviews and add things (since overviews are a positive list of only the things you want to see) is that it's too hard to add them yourself.

Besides that, considering that CCP has never* previously added things to your locally stored custom overviews (like all the PI and DUST items that have been added recently), so it's quite possible that CCP doesn't currently have the tools to safely batch change the infinite variety of possible XML files that are the playerbases custom overviews.

If you want to use custom overviews, it's your job to maintain them. CCP has produced some very useable default overviews which it maintains (and CCP did, in fact, add Attack BCs to the default overviews), so if you don't want to maintain your overviews, use those.

*to my knowledge

It does. The Default Overviews (not locally stored) have Attack BCs visible.

CCP is simply not altering your, custom settings.

Come on guys, don't troll her. The T3 BC's must have been using the new Sensor Corruption modules on you. They have a stacking 20% chance to hide the users fleet from the overview when active.

They usually go for around 5 mill or so on the market at the moment, as they are still new modules.

ROFL!! I love this Twisted

So I got ripped off then! I paid 15Mill for one!!
