Look at it this way, CCP is going to themes and the next one will be Pirates. So even though the Empire faction BC's look good, I'm going to go rub one out thinking about what is in store with the Pirate faction BC's.

well there is a lot of noob pirate faction ships in the market tab

*don;t think they actually in game or atleast haven;t seen them in stock*

so makes me wonder if they may add a way to start out as a pirate in the pirate faction similar to how we start now with the current 4

That actually might make sense as with skill changes battlecruisers will be able to be dual skill bonused like other pirate ships.

They don't speak as to where these came from. I question the authenticity because I could have mocked up these pretty easily myself...not that some of them don't look cool; just I'm just too much of a skeptic to believe it.

They're from the client files and have been there for almost 2 years now I think?

Nerf the heck out a ship over a 2 year period, then put out a navy variant that probably matches the original specs of two years ago....

And people are excited about paying 3x as much for it?

They gave out pirate rookie ships at PAX East. I sold two of them on the market for about 1.2 bil isk. The idea of letting players start in a pirate faction though would be amazing.
