Are there any ships that can solo the Angel 10/10. I mean one account, one ship.

I've been looking at the Legion and Rattlesnake and both can fit a mean Angel Tank. Legion being able to tank 1600 DPS vs. Angel while being stable w/ a AB and having the right resist profile to tank the final overseer's volley every 60 secs.

The rattlesnake does have a little more DPS though and a little more tank, although less in the resist section and obviously the sig of a small moon and little speed.

I don't want a Tengu, they're too mainstream for The Shroom!

Try to keep it on the cheap end if possible, anyone know if there is a ship capable of doing this? Also, how much DPS is needed to take out the final overseer?

...and don't come in here if your just gonna blabber on about how you need a fleet of 10 BS's to do this or anything stupid, I well know it's possible to dual-box it with just 2 ships but I wanna see if I can get that to one

Angel 10/10 is pretty easy since the Overseer got nerfed a bit awhile back. I've done it in a tengu, and once with two drakes, and I'm pretty sure one drake would have sufficed just fine if you're willing to take a hellaciously long time to get it done. (pretty sure the overseer only tanks about 500dps, though google him if you want the exact numbers, I'm probably wrong)

Damage projection for killing webs and staying out of range of most bs's is key, after that load up on the best omni tank you can.

Legion is bad because of engagement range, sentry Rattler would be fine but I'd really recommend a tengu. There's no point being a non-mainstream rebel in PvE.

EDIT: Other options - ishtar, gila - I'd recommend either over a Rattler tbh because of sig considerations.

Hmm... I see, really woulda loved to be able to use a Legion for it but if I can't that's fine

Do you have any fits for a Ishtar/Gila that could solo it? or a Rattler?

Eh, throw together something with an AB and a thorough passive shield tank on either the ishtar or gila and you'll probably fine. I'd link one but I don't have EFT and am lazy. But extenders/purgers/SPR's/enough cap to run the AB, the usual.

Legion dps is also the wrong type for Angel plexes, so you'd really be better off in anything else. Unless you're rocking a HAM legion, which might be quasi-viable - try it and out and let me know, but I'd still call the lack of damage projection a deal-breaker.

Yea I didn't plan on using a laser legion, the fit I had was a HAM one

Seriously try it out, but my fuzzy memory recalls some webbing towers in the shipyard room that were kinda a ***** - but javelins and range rigs might make it work out alright. I'm pretty confident it'd be suboptimal to one of the drone boats in completion time but if it's more fun for you run with it.
