How did Hans do?

With the CSM elections opening up again maybe its time to go back and look at the hero a lot of this forum voted for to make their collective lowsec/FW voice heard.

Personally I didn't hear much from Hans in the CSM minutes nor on this forum throughout his term, not as much as I did before hand anyway.

Some great changes came about to lowsec and faction warfare during his term though... I'm not sure if Hans is responsible for any of the suspect/criminal flagging or faction warfare changes or if CCP even gave him a chance to give any input at all but the changes did go through while he was on the CSM so cheers Hans \o/

How did Hans Jaegerblitzen do and who's running for the lowsec/FW seat this go round?

Not today spaghetti.

Lots of policies can be debated. In the end though, what impressed me about Hans is that he listened to the community, and even when he disagreed (for example, he didn't think that being forced to shoot NPC's was a good idea) he still took the communities suggestions to CCP when it was obvious the vast majority of people wanted something.

No idea who to vote for now, but I assume FW is going to be on the back burner for a while anyways.

I'm mad at Hans because while he was on the CSM, he flew a lot less with us.

But either way I think he did a good job for us and am very glad that he got to serve on the csm.

Hans was (and still is) biased little t.at whose only goal was to get benefits for his own and their allied militias. In other words, just like any other CSM candidate who is only elected to drive their own nullsec alliances interests.

So I quess in that regard he was stricly average.

Hans bent the rules long enough for my side to receive a high five from CCP Fozzie! +1 Hans!

WTF? How did you get your high five already? I thought we had to wait for fanfest? Did I miss my high five?

IDK but whomever had them change the gate gun mechanics in lowsec deserves a big wet sloppy kiss

Hans posted a blog about what issues he took up.

Some things he got through some he didn't.

Some things he supported like timer rollbacks/tweaks from warp outs, better intel tools, and reduced emphasis on npcs had lots of player support over the years. However he seemed to lose focus on these issues and only one of these changes was implemented.

Other things he supported like the current lp payout system, and lp for defensive plexing was either never proposed on these forums or was proposed and not supported by the players. In the end he seemed to focus on these and got them both through regardless of the lack of player input.

Hans wasn't intentionally biased but he could not seperate his views from that of his minmatar friends. Hence when the minmatar cried that they were being punished for winning, he made sure to push for lp for defensive plexing.

He also repeated the conclusions of minmatar bloggers that tried to minimize the effect of farming on the sov war (even though it was proven they had faulty data.) So the changes that would make plexing a pvp game were never implemented.

Make faction war occupancy pvp instead of pve https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=53815&#post53815

He did well, but only 'cos he shot first.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.
