Or maybe the game should just be more viable for one account. (you know, like 99.9% of MMOs on the market?)

It is.

I am calling bullshit on this one.

Sorry, to be at all effective in EVE, one needs *at minimum* a primary pilot + alt scout + cyno alt (strategically placed) + hisec alt. If you want to get into FW, you need a pilot for that as well because of clone costs (primary pilot pod-death hurts past 20 million sp)

That is bare minimum.

Crime, it is not a "career", it is a lifestyle.

Fixed. The notion that you need more is indeed BS.

There is a significant difference between how many characters a person has and how many they need. I have 12, but I only need 1 - my main. The rest are there to make my life easier when other people aren't around to do the things I need done, and to let me increase my passive income. They aren't necessary, they just make my life in game a lot easier.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

When The Wiz, like a flaming dumbass, posted that video of running 100 mackinaws all at the same time from one keyboard, and everyone who can't/won't do the same thing went up up in emo-flames that he was making a **** ton of ISKies that way.

To those people, I say:

IT'S NOT A ******* COMPETITION! It's a game, play to enjoy yourself, not to race everyone else to the top of the ISK heap.

There can be no solution to which there is no problem.

Multi-boxing is a non-issue. CCP hath supported it. CCP hath endorsed it. CCP hath pushed hard for you to have more than one account going to so far as to make this game completely and utterly boring after 6 months for a lone toon.

The fact of this game is, if you have one account you're going to spend many hours doing nothing, wasting your time and effort trying to do something or playing the same boring content (haha, yeah that's laughable) ad nauseam.

If you're not willing to or capable of having multiple accounts then stop trying to tear down those that do, especially those that have enough alts to make multiboxing using isboxer and the like attractive tools.

Now, a single player with a single toon is a viable option in this game, it's just you'll need to associate yourself with enough active and like minded people to successfully play in aspects that are no place for a lone toon. With that said, multiple accounts do make the flow of the game more even. Having a single toon means, boring single player content aside, you're more likely to be the type of person that is waiting for something to happen with which you can take part.: i.e. log on, see if anything is going on, if not log off and go do something else. Kind of crappy for a game you're paying $180/yr for but it is what it is. There are other alternatives out there to Eve.

If you still feel compelled to play Eve then I would suggest going with 3 alts. A PVP toon, a PVE toon and an industrialist toon. I find the power of 3 far superior to the power of 2. My needs are sculpted directly by the environment in Eve that I play, w-space. I feel no need to go beyond 3 toons. Farming isk is not that difficult to get startup capital to fund industrialist ventures to further augment your income all while buying plex w/ isk for all 3 toons. I can do most things on my own in the arena of w-space that I inhabit but, do associate with other bitter vets in a corp.

Like I said, the game is what it is. You should accept that and either play the game or move on. But, in no way do I feel people playing with +10 alts using isboxer are somehow taking away from me or anyone else. Why you do, I can only characterize as malicious envy. *shrugs*

Don't ban me, bro!

No matter how hard you try, it is not possible to convince people that their OPINION about command duplicating is "not an issue".

It is a matter of personal opinion as to whether or not it is an issue. Do not assume that just because you (and CCP) think it is OK, that somehow everyone else should agree with you. It is rather obvious, based on public outcry alone that command duplication is indeed an issue that bothers many people.

You don't get to redefine the meaning of the word "issue" either.

You really shouldn't scare people like that.
If it's not a competition, then that would mean that their entire ISK-collecting existences were meaningless… Onoz! Shocked

By the same token, the unwashed masses do not get to override CCP's decision on what is and is not an issue in Eve, no matter how much they beg, whine and cry. At the end of the day your opinion amounts to the same pile of steaming feces as mine - CCP's opinion on the matter is all that matters, and their opinion is pretty clear. Multi-boxing is supported. Command duplication is not an exploit and is therefore an acceptable game play style.

Sorry, I guess.
