Loved the articles, had subscription since volume 2, and got the reissued 01. Been with me throughout my EVE 'career.

Will be missed. Thanks to all the contributors.

Not really unexpected but nevertheless a sad news...i only started my 1 year sub from Issue #28 and loved it. I just ordered the whole collection except issue 12 which is unfortunately out of stock for a memory.

PS: Just curious, do I get a refund for 2 missing issue actually (#30 is free)?

PPS:are you guys going to have any paper publication in the future if possible?

PPPS: cant wait for the EVE store's reopen

Thats probably the sadest news in my Eve history... I was so looking forward to read all about Fanfest 10, as I probably would be to drunk to remember Bear

I have every issues of EON and will keep them safe now. Cry

Never even looked at EON as I find the idea of reading a magazine about one game slightly absurd and anyhow a waste of time that could be spent on better things, like playing EVE. Apparently most EVE players feel the same.

This certainly is very sad but it has to be asked:

Can I have your stuff?

All i can think of is HOW DO YOU MANAGED TO **** SUCH A GREAT STUFF UP?Cry

in 2007 i've thought it's a sci-fi simulator, not an "e-sports" game. I'm not a teenager, how would i like it much?

I think it was a good idea and it was well executed regarding content and quality. The only problem was the logistics, which lead to outrageous shipping costs for many parts of the globe. It is a big challenge to produce and distribute a high quality magazine for a limited global community at reasonable production and shipping costs, and the EON staff did not match up to this task (just like the EVE shop, which could really take off when they would be able to get the shipping costs under control).

On the other hand, I guess I know have something what will be traded on collector fairs in a few decades ...

Sad to see but not unexpected given the times we live in (age of austerity and all that). Good luck Zapatero and staff in whatever you do next and thank you for eight years of great publishing.

This is really bad news and a bad sign for EVE Online. In the year of the tenth anniversary of EVE Online there should have been a solution to keep that magazine alive. Do not tell me it would have been to expensive for CCP... This is ridicolous.

Thanks to the EON Team, especially Zapatero. I hope you are reading this. Your did a great job. Reading that magazine was a pleasure, waiting for the next issue was always a pain. ;)

This is really sad, I subbed from issue 1. I loved the glossiness, the artwork and the content was always top notch.

I've been trying to get hold of issue 30 for ages. Looks like the digital distributor has closed the EON store.

I hope that maybe CCP could help fund one-off special edition versions in the future?
