You sure your other skills are high enough? Resistances are of particular importance for level 4 missions, especcially fitting your ship to specifically counter the main damage types dealt in each one. Also, are you sure you are leaving the triggers as the last kill, to make sure that loads of ships don't spawn? Information regarding each mission can be found at EvE-Survival.

They recently upped the difficulty of NPC AI, so things are harder than they used to be. But keep trying and don't give up hope, once you've got the tactics down for missions you can find they become pretty easy.

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

Or you could do things that are fun instead of being profitable. Just a thought Pirate

Use Eve Survival mission guide to help you with missions. It explains the missions, how the mission npc act, when they spawn and so on, order to kill the npc and so on. Also tells you what kind of damage to use, and what kinds of damage to tank for. Makes doing missions much easier OP. Check it out.

ive lost like 3 battleships during level 4 missions and a few battlecruisers earlier. im done with missions.

is there anything in this game that is profitable and doesnt involve losing ships except for mining and trading ??
Running missions in Highsec doesn't involve losing ships: anytime you lose a ship to NPCs ... you are doing it wrong.

Just because you can fly a BS, doesn't mean NPCs and other people will magically die at the sight of your awesomeness. You actually still need to learn to play the game.

Unless you train Awesomeness to V giving you access to tech II Norris Field Generators in your mid-slots.

I lost a kronos in the gallente epic arc (studio 1 mission, for those wondering. ******* hit for 4k+.) and you wanna know why? Because I wasn't paying attention, and didn't research the mission.

But do you hear me bitching? no, it's your own fault OP. lrn2eve.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

Prime example of what makes the EVE community look terrible.

Get over yourself. The OP was looking for help, no need to be an asshat.

Crime, it is not a "career", it is a lifestyle.

I can give you one HUGE piece of advice OP.

Join a mission running corp. Find one that doesn't have a large history of wardecs that has a reasonable amount of people playing during your timezone and give it a whirl. You will learn more from playing with others than you can imagine. You might even make some good game friends and enjoy the game more as well.

As far as mission running goes, people have already linked the main help tools to use. Be sure and use mission specific armor hardeners (2 of each). And since you are still young in game, I would strongly suggest you use long range guns and kite (stay away from them).

But the main thing -- join a good established corp. I see you have been in a couple that are closed now. Find a good one, let the tax isk go back into the economy, learn and profit.

One more thing as an afterthought upon looking at your killboard. I would strongly suggest that you don't fly battleships in low sec or nullsec until you get a bit of experience. I have a little bit more than you and I don't do it without a lot of support. People will tell you otherwise but they just want to see you on their killmail................
