log-off timer + remote assistance == suspect flag?

Just had nice discussion with GM about subj. Without any details this is intended behavior to prevent invulnerability of remote assistance.

Personally i think this is somehow strange: whatever PvP action have led to log-off timer it finished. No suspect flag, no aggro flag, no LE flag. Just log-off timer. Why remote assistance is "suspectable offence"?

Discuss?

This is CCP's policy. Nerf everything so the carebears in highsec can play MineVille and MissionBottingOnline.

Your saying, if you give Remote Assistance to a ship that logged off you get a suspect timer even if the ship has no flags?

The most obvious threat.... a person dc's inside an incursion and gets tackled/attacked by sleepers before it could ewarp... Repping them gives you a suspect timer? Seriously??

Hmmm... that's.... interesting...

nope. i speak about log-off timer (timer before safe-logoff after last PvP action).

I thought the situation was a little more complicated:

Case 1: You rep a player A who has a PvP flag because player B attacked them, but Player A never shot back. You do NOT get a Suspect flag for repping player A.

Case 2: You rep a player A who attacked player B. Player B can legally shoot you prior to repping because he is at war with you, or because you have a limited engagement with him. You do NOT get a Suspect flag for repping player A.

Case 3: You rep a Player A who attacked Player B. Player B can NOT legally shoot you prior to repping... You WILL get a Suspect flag for repping player A.

In addition to whether or not you get a suspect flag FOR repping player A, you will also inherit all flags from Player A when you rep them, with the exception of a LE.

sorry for lack of details. I thought question is clear.

There is details.
Player A is sitting with sniper ship, player B uses rSBs (remote sensor boosters) to make player A insta-locker.
Target appeared, player A makes a shot. Player A gets timers (log-off, LE, weapons timer), Player B gets log-off timer.
rSBs are deactivated (switchers are green).

After LE and weapon timers are gone, player B tries to use rSB on player A. And he cannot: he will get suspect flag for doing this.

So the question: for me it looks strange that player B cannot assist player A AFTER all actions are done. Player A has only log-off timer, he has not any LE or weapon timers, but he is somehow locked for assistance.
