Recently my client went nuts and all my settings got reset, i usually use 4 clients at a time in windowed mode across 2 screens but i cant access the esc settings menu while in windowed mode ( i don't know if I'm supposed to be able to or not) so i have to go into to fullscreen but now, it appears, i cannot do that either.

fullscreen option is not sensitised in the drop down menu at the top
CMD & Return doesn't work
Reinstalling the client doesn't work
Setting Fullscreen in the login options menu doesn't work

Wipe out your cache and settings. You should be able to access the client settings menu while in windowed mode, so that points to a significant problem with your existing settings/cache.

You should be able to use the ESC menu in any mode. I've had more luck with windowed mode, but obviously YMMV.

Are you running multiple accounts simultaneously from the same client? That can make things go haywire. If you're using EVE Clonemaker (scroll down) to make different instances, so your clients aren't stepping on each others' toes, then I have no idea.

I'd say to try EVE Clonemaker if you haven't already, and if you have I suppose what's left is a wipe and full reinstall.
