Quick question on FW promotion

Is promotion in FW based on Fed Def union standing or VP accumulation?

I need to increase my standing with Gallente to keep my corp in FW (it's bad but got some balance with other the toons in it but I've read conflicing info so asking if anyone has a clarificatio.

Promotion is based on standing with Fed Def Union, if you lose standings by failing missions etc then you can be demoted.

Plex standings gains are quite small, FW missions are the best source of standings.

Hmmmm might have to drop a few alts in with decent standing till I can work on my fed def standing :(

You do gain standings by plexing. Just not that much.

Tao the fed def standings aren´t worth anything.
If you have -10 fed def but +1.0 gal standings everything is okay.
Btw if I join calmil (still thinking about it cause we have too much big gang here in amarrmil) will be glad to fight you :D

Every full point of standing you get with FDU before social skills give you a promotion.

This only occurs once - so you can't get a promotion, then awox friendlies, and then just get another quick promotion.

Doing FW missions and closing plexes will increase your standing.

Yeah that's what I thought. My issue is that my Gal standing is -2.9 and my FDU is like -7 or something......luckly I have a couple of friends in corp with Gal standing of +3 ish so I'm just trying to claw a few points with the gallente before my 7 days in corp are up.....

I'm thinking that blitzing lvl 1-2 missions in low to get a couple of story lines might be the quickest way to get that.

if your FDU standing goes too low only solo option to raise it might be plexing, ofc some friend/alt can split FW missions for you.

Doing a quick calc with my alt and a friends char in the corp we should be ok as they all have possitive standing with Gallente.

I'll just operate as normal in FW this week and see how it goes.

And Colt. Dr Sheng is in the chiller. He gets out once in a while when I want a laugh! Twisted

Like I said: Gal standings overwrite fed standings.
