If there is one thing I can tell these kids, it is to never, EVER, click the links in local. Ever

Edit: OP a link to your establishment's website may help your cause.

Edit of the edit: the only link to a company that matches your title: http://www.vbgov.com/government/departments/parks-recreation/recreation-centers/pages/bayside.aspx

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

I also googled that and had a browse through. There is no mention of underprivileged kids programs unless I missed it. It looks to be a very posh CRC w/fees.

I waited for the OP to make his next move and possibly link that site but he has ignored my post. Lol

So, current status of OP's thread: SCAM!

Current status is I am out running errands with my wife and children.

As stated before, there are fees to the rec center unless you are a low income home that qualifies for reduced or free membership. It is a program almost identical to that of a school that offer reduced or free lunch. Many of you not being adults, probably have no idea what I am talking about.

Secondly, http://www.vbgov.com/government/departments/parks-recreation/recreation-centers/pages/bayside.aspx is the home page. The "youth game room" is the latest addition. Come in, and we have many different programs, just sign up and your in. You just have to follow the rules, and your on your way to learning about video games.

For all the people who mentioned. All "kids" who will play eve online at our rec center will be of 14 years of age or older and must have a consent form signed by their parent or legal guardian.

Teenagers are even worse than regular kids.

No need to show disrespect because you had a terrible upbringing and didn't have a happy alternative to look forward too after school.

I had something to look forward to after school. I believe the slang term these days is "home".

I believe we have an excellent program here, and the numerous awards from the city reflect as such.

What kind of program exposes kids to the most cut throat place on the internet while also teaching them they don't need to work for anything? You sound like a bad influence. Also, I still think this is a scam.

2. Be respectful toward others at all times.

The purpose of the EVE Online forums is to provide a platform for exchange of ideas, and a venue for the discussion of EVE Online. Occasionally there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Forum users are expected to be courteous when disagreeing with others.

12. Spamming is prohibited.

Spam is defined as the repetitive posting of the same topic or nonsensical post that has no substance and is often designed to annoy other forum users. This can include the words “first”, "go back to [insert other game name]" and other such posts that contribute no value to forum discussion. Spamming also includes the posting of ASCII art within a forum post.

22. Post constructively.

Negative feedback can be very useful to further improve EVE Online provided that it is presented in a civil and factual manner. All users are encouraged to honestly express their feelings regarding EVE Online and how it can be improved. Posts that are non-constructive, insulting or in breach of the rules will be deleted regardless of how valid the ideas behind them may be. Users are also reminded that posting with a lack of content also constitutes non-constructive posting.

26. Off-topic posting is prohibited.

Off-topic posting is permitted within reason, as sometimes a single comment may color or lighten the tone of discussion. However, excessive posting of off-topic remarks in an attempt to derail a thread may result in the thread being locked, or a forum warning being issued.

Cleaned up the thread of some violations of the above rules. I have also moved it to Out of Game Events and Gatherings, as General Discussion is not the place for a discussion like this. Please stay constructive and on topic. In addition, if you suspect any misbehavior with regards to the EULA/ToS, petitioning is encouraged, but posting "I have petitioned you for X" is not constructive or on topic.

Unrelated to moderation, a small suggestion to the OP: to provide somewhat conclusive proof of the legitimacy of this, try to get a confirmation or mention of it on the Bayside RC website, even if it's not on a publicly-linked page (similar to how AMA hosts on Reddit often confirm their identity with an offsite link using their Twitter or personal website).
