[Ubuntu 12.04][wine 1.4]Crashes on undocking

The game installed just fine. Able to update and launch from launcher. Login, in station (Cant orbit around my ship, fixed camera), can do most anything in station. Market, Contracts, Wallet, Clones, Skills, ext.

Win config [ exefile.exe -> msvcr70, msvcr80, msvcr90, msvcr100 (builtin, native)]

installed from console "winetricks corefonts d3dx9_36 vcrun2005 vcrun2008 vcrun2010"

Mobility Radeon HD 5400 series GPU (Asus k52jr laptop (About 2 years old. Upgraded ram from 4 - 8gb)

Try clearing your cache at least once, corrupt cache has caused people to be unable to undock. It's the escape menus.

Which version of wine? I'm noticing a lot of wine 1.5.25 problems on the boards.

I tried clearing cache it still crashed. right after its done the progress bar for undocking the screen goes black (apart from chat windows ext) and it freezes till I close.

Wine version 1.4

Also (this is minor) the images for ships and modules is looking all corrupt.

Try following the Howto's in this thread about upgrading to wine 1.5, though I think people are unhappy with 1.5.25.

I have a feeling that the corruption is the reason you're crashing. Y ou might also try a redownload/fresh install.

From the description, it could also be a graphics driver issue. I know pretty much nil about Radeon drivers, though. Are there any other versions you can try?
