Getting bigger class ships into plexes with ship-limited gates - possible?

So I was thinking on how each location in eve is a 'grid' and how the system works. If you pop a fast frigate into a plex with a ship-limited acceleration gate can you:

MWD until you are off grid
BM the location
Swap to a bigger class of ship
Warp to BM
MWD back on grid into deadspace plex area
Stuff

I'm not saying there's necessarily a valid use for this (like parking a disco BS on a plex warp-in beacon or something), but I'm just wondering if it's actually possible?

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Could you align in and burn the 100,000 km and end up in the plex?

What would be the point?

Even with skirmish links it'd still take you about 5-6 hours to cover that distance in a cynabal. In that time you could have shipped down and run the enemy out, capped the plex, waited for it to respawn and capped it again 8 to 10 times over.

Ah, I didn't realise plex grids were so big - I thought they were similar to station/gate grids, i.e. get 600-700km away and go off grid.
Guess the question is answered, ta.

There is couple tricks how you can get bigger ship in, but IT IS AN EXPLOIT TO DO IT.

So no point to figure anything like that out.

You used to be able to get a domi inside a small under the old system, packaged inside an Itty, you could then launch it, and fill ér with drones.

But it would be unfitted. And therefore worthless.

So, meh.

We did have a guy come into a plex my corporation was running in a plated cyno Thorax.

CAN'T LET YOU DO THAT STARFOX.
