ok it is still not 100% but they are pushing out updates and stuff like nobodies business, almost CCP like, although they will obviously not keep up the pace like CCP over long term, but it is getting there, and the game itself? I am actually beginning to like!

I'm surprised that many people given EA's reputation actually bought it? It had clusterf*ck written all over it.

I know it's a long awaited sequel to a much loved series of games, but when have EA ever successfully pulled that off?

Exactly. After they ruined Battlefield I didn't even bother with Sim City because I was assuming the same thing would happen. No game company can survive being bought by EA. With EA, you don't just sell out literally, but figuratively as well.

Apparently, server for single-player SimCity is really not required:

Why even be connected to the Internet to play as it's a SINGLE-PLAYER GAME ?

It's the future of raking in the £££

Coming soon to a traditional SP game with Co-Op mode near you.

Buy the Co-Op version for the full price of £39.99, DDM only.
SP content available as an additional download for the bargain price of £19.99.
Multiple Expansions @ £9.99 each, that are actually 85%+ bug fixes.

I'm sure they hope that this is opening week nonsense that will clear up like when Diablo III launched.

Except EA is no Blizzard. EA is the reason I've not touched Mass Effect 3.

I have to say that the ending to ME 3 is absolutely fantastic, and that the only reason people didn't like it is because they're a bunch of ******** internet crybabies who think every game should be an MMO and go on forever. This goes to show how idiotic gamers have become over the last few years. Sure, EA are a bunch of scumbags, but a good 60% of the gaming community are scumbags as well and are the reason games are being dumbed down and left to die.

ME 3 was a great game...not as good as 2 but better than the first.

Don't miss post 84.

Now, even a modder was able to do it !

Maxis/EA have some explaining to do:

Hang on, what was wrong with Battlefield? I liked that game, did the expansion packs screw it up or something?
