Hello MD forum.

A brief history as to why these questions came up, if you want you can skip directly to the questions :).

I started playing Eve this december, and I enjoy station trading as my main source of income. I cheated a little bit in starting my trading up by buying a plex and selling it at the market. Since then my plex money has grown into around 15b isk. In the not so distant future I am looking to start up capital production. But before I do this I would love to have a few bond questions answered by those who are older in game and wiser than I am. I have been reading the posts here for a few weeks, so many of my questions have been answered without me having to post them, special thanks to Grendell, VV, Saveritrader among others for providing good answers to peoples questions. The questions that remain unanswered to me are:

1. If I provide blueprints as collateral, how does it work when a third party locks these down? Can I still perform research on these blueprints, or can I just use them for manufacturing?

2. Assuming I provide enough collateral, is there usually any problems getting a bond filled, which is somewhere in the range of 20-100b?

3. Approximately how much would the third party locking service cost?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this, and I am looking forward to your good answers!

They are locked down in your corporation while an alt of the 3rd party is CEO with all the shares. Your character is provided with the correct permissions to use your corporation and bpo's freely. So you can research, manufacture, etc.

Assuming the collateral fully covers the loan amount, there is generally no problem. Took me 1 week to fill a 450b bond. So 20-100b is very easy.

I can't speak for the others, but for CEO lockdowns I usually charge in the 1% interest range. That does vary as it depends on my available characters, how much work is involved for me, and the loan amount.

Thank you very much Grendell! This means I can count on having to pay a monthly fee of roughly 2 % interrest + 1 % lockdown fee = 3 %, am I right?

Thank you very much, you will be the first person I turn to to hold my collateral when I have acquired enough bpos for it to be worthwile to ask for a bond :).
