Jita + Goons = Griefing

It took me about 4 minutes of clicking my character and then pressing escape to successfully log in to my Jita character, and I noticed in Local about 300 Goonwaffe characters named variations of "Goon seatwarmer 1" (or similar). Is this kind of activity allowed? Seems like blatant griefing that adds nothing to the E.v.e. experience...

Oh snap, I need to update my sell orders, apparently my market alt has spent 1bil isk via its buy orders. Damn you GEWNS !!!

I am resisting the urge to try and log into my alt to sell some of the stuff it has picked up. It probably will just get 0.01isked anyway ...

Ehhh, I normally laugh this stuff off, but this time it's exploiting a server issue. Granted, it's technically no different from something like a gate camp in the sense that it's denying access to a certain location, but I don't think that throwing a ton of alts into Jita just to clog up the gates is supposed to be intended.

If Goons (or anyone) are blocking access to Jita deliberately merely by having a bunch of characters in system, then yeah I'd call that an inappropriate use of the server.

hey m8 check out this legit tool that updates 30 market orders in 20 seconds

all toonies in eve university should use it

You don't see a problem with someone artificially forcing Jita to hit its population cap so that people can't get in?

Oh I don't know. A good old blockade of a trading port sounds like a hell of a lot more appropriate use of the server than what the regular Jita resident does with (and to) it… What?
