I'm mostly surprised someone can really think saying amarrian ships are more beautiful than those of the Federation is an attack of any kind. I'd recommend you'd check the databases on both ships, and you'll see the undeniable truth that the Golden Fleet is the most beautiful by far. And that's something most pilots I've talked to agree, including non-amarrians such as this case.

So I believe you are seeing specific attacks where there was none. Your hatred for captain Vikarion may have its reasons, but is clearly out of place here.

My deepest apologies. Next time someone says they really like the way the Federation's ships looks and how Amarrian ships looks like they were made by a race of [insert insulting term here] I will arrogantly point out to you that, by finding this offensive, you are clearly a fool because it is UNDENIABLE that Federation ships are more beautiful than Amarrian ships and quite clearly this is something that "most pilots I have talked to" agree with - so it must be fact - and the fact that you felt offended is silly, clearly your just seeing offense where there is none and even protesting this is "out of line".

I will also point to a statement by the author of that claim, that says that because he forewarned about his opinion, being offended was clearly a case of "self harm" and that perhaps he should have read something else because making a warning about it being his opinion legitimizes and justifies any insult he might feel inclined to make.

Seems legit.

So much hatred rests within you, does it not? But worry not, I wasn't offended by your words. You're pretty far from being able to offend me in any way. Nor did I call you fool in any of my lines, just stated my surprise in front of what I believe is obvious. Which, obviously, is a subjective issue, as is the opinion to those I've inquired on the matter, so that part is obvious as well. It's often called the subjective bias, of which I am well aware, afterall, and ends up turning into casuistic perception of reality, which is often flawed.

Then again, your own perception is as flawed as well. And of all those who have read this text, you were the only one able to find something to be offended by, not only by your "nemesis", but by me as well. You should check on your anger management skills, I'm sure there's a skillbook CONCORD can sell you to improve there if you so wish.

Nemesis? Oh, my. Well, hmm.

I sorta think it's cute, the way he follows me around to insult me. I think he has a crush on me, but can't manage to ask me out because, well, he's Gallente, and I'm Caldari, and such a forbidden - but torrid - romance would necessarily end in tears. So he must be content to sit and snipe from the sidelines, hoping against hope that his mask of hostility will keep the FIO from interfering with his obsession.

It's nice to be loved. Bear

As far as I do not disagree, may I respectfully point out that "being the only one" against the crowd does not systematically means that the minority is wrong.

My previous post pointed out how absurd your claims were - you basically said that my argument was invalid because your opinion supported Vikarion's opinion as did the opinions of "many pilots you know" and that somehow weight of numbers makes my beliefs wrong. This is entirely illogical, and I had hoped my sarcastic counter-example made this clear.

And now as counter you patronize me and claim that I have anger-management problems. You even claim that Vikarion is somehow my nemesis. Neither of these are correct. Fact of the matter is that Vikarion is an insidious supporter of a faction I don't care about in any meaningful way beyond it's impact on my own - among other things through people like Vikarion himself, and his tendencies - those tendencies are my only issue with him that need concern you. If he had managed to keep his childish desire to spew venom about the Union in, and simply made this whole work about Ship designs and Technologies without it, I would have no problem at all - I would even have enjoyed it more than I did.

This whole argument started because when I responded to this topic by mentioning my enjoyment of Vikarion's work and how I looked forward to the rest I made the, apparent, mistake of pointing out my disdain for his claims regarding Federation ship-design. Coming from him, it was yet another childish stab. I could have ignored it. I likely should have, it would have saved me allot of time. But I did not and here we are.

I am also amused by Vikarion's childish response. Clearly he thinks so little of me he believes claiming I'm a homosexual with a secret crush on him will be insulting or hurt me in any way. He also miss-represented my ethnic identity, either intentionally or out of habit, this is not especially insulting either.

There is nothing else to comment on regarding this topic at this point. Vikarion presented his work and his jab, I responded, everything derailed badly for a while, some people here were shown to be highly petty and childish when they want to, and we had our argument on the matter. With nothing else to get involved with, I will leave this topic be and await the next one.

Have a good day, Sepherim.

Insult? Oh no, it is not at all my intention to insult. I think you are rather cute, personally. Somewhat like a very aggressive puppy.

Good Maker, you people can find an argument in ANYTHING, can't you?!

You should be ashamed of yourselves.
