Declarations of War is hosting the first of hopefully several CSM8 head to head debates at 04:00 today. Our opening match up sees Chitsa Jason and Cipreh square off as both are vying for the wormhole AND mercenary vote.

What would you like to see these candidates talk about? Post your question and who it's for below and it might get used on the show!

Usual disclaimer: We will not ask every question posted for obvious reasons, so make em good ;p

Great idea Alek, so, i have 3 questions:

1. On a scale of 1 to 13, How much would you like to sex me up? BlinkLol

2. From a mercs perspective, what mechanics and/or perceptions affecting/about the profession would you like to change or improve?

3. What is your viewpoint on the CSM candidates that want a safer highsec, which may easily force many in our trade out of the business of operating in highsec, sending us to lowsec or killing our business outright?

And lastly, let them know that no matter who wins the debate, you both have a place in my heart

(Sorry about the lack of wormhole questions)

id like to know your position on high sec and if you think it too safe and if the amount of isk vs risk is unbalanced compared to the other types of space although i know your both wormholers you may be wondering why the hell im asking you about high sec but i feel that if hs was less profitable maybe more pilots would move to wh space meaning more pew for us and what ways would you nerf/balance hs to make it less safer/profitable what our your thoughts on this topic do you think wh/null/low should be buffed or hs nerfed and in what ways do you think ccp could fix this problem ?

Chitsa: Why are you always late?

Cipreh: Boxers or Briefs.

Both: Wormhole mass, how much is too much.

Both: War Mechanics, what do.

Both: Wormholes need supers, confirm / deny.

What quality of life improvements can you offer wormholers.

Alliance bookmarks?

Better CHAs? (Tower mod improvements if not an overhaul)

More pulsars? (Less blackholes?)

ALLIANCE BOOKMARKS????

Question for Alek: Seeing as this is way outside my timezone, will the debate be available as a podcast?

Just over a month ago we saw the prospect of war between the HBC and CFC fizzle and die. Shortly thereafter followed talk of 'thunderdome' events and/or organized bloc vs bloc war-games.

Whatever the underlying motives and machinations (put on your favourite tin-foil hat) there is a clear contrast between consensual and non-consensual conflict in a far broader sense than the terms are often used (e.g. discussions of dueling mechanics).

So my question to the candidates:

Do you think that overall gameplay is better when both parties are looking to fight one another and the engagement is mutual, or when external factors (i.e. 'conflict drivers') entice one group to attack the other without the second party's consent?

[This could be on the scale of 1v1s, small gangs engaging on a gate/WH, full-on WH evictions and/or Sov warfare.]

Since both candidates are from W-space I have a follow-up if time allows:

Whether you prefer consensual or non-consensual conflict, it seems that W-space offers barriers to your preferred style of play.* Would changes to game-mechanics provide a solution? If so what changes, if not why not?

* The dynamic nature of W-space routes makes connections between the consensual groups erratic and unreliable (this is why people are reduced to chain-collapsing). The relative homogeneity of W-space systems and ability to destroy assets within POS shields leave no incentive to take space from competing W-space entities.

Part 2: I'd like to know what each candidate thinks being a CSM is, and how they will go about it.

Chitsa: Do they have Boy scouts in Lithuania or are you the only one?

Cip: If Chitsa pronounced his love for you RIGHT NOW what would your reaction be?

Both: Would you rather fight 100 Duck sized horses or 1 horse sized duck?

Will you be handling your personal alliance/corp interests or everyones ? I don't want to vote for another 'EVE-Uni CSM' who mainly cares about his own group.

neither Cipreh nor Chitsa have enough votes entirely within their alliance to get in. As for expanding their "group" to be WH players, that question should be somewhat illuminated by the candidates answers to questions about non-WH issues (of which there were intentionally many)
