I'd love to have in-game sound that was anything like what we heard in the "I was there" video :)

One of the things I liked about Homeworld was the odd "sound" of the voices and sound effects. I have no idea if they were intentional or simply a side effect of the compression mechanism used, but to me it added "authenticity" to the experience - the same way that a live album sounds different to an over-produced studio album. A well produced live album lends more to the "I was there" experience than the boring flatness of a studio album.

But I digress.

EVE has sound. As nice as it is, it could be better :)
