How do players who join the all blue null sec make isk?

^this. If you have just a slight idea of what you are doing you will make consistently more isk/h in hisec than in 0.0.

We aren't doing sovwar because sovwar sucks and we don't hate each other. But the shooting is very constant, and the hostilities very real.

The largest megacoalition has about 34,000 characters in it. Nobody knows how many players it or any other group has.
There are at least 60,000 characters in other non-blue coalitions, and more that aren't affiliated with any.

If we're all blue howcome I'm seeing all these ******* [B0RT] afk cloaks in my wonderful ratting systems? Why is half of my alliance deployed to NPC delve solely to torture HBC residents? Why is the entire south intent on knocking over SOLAR? These ******* blues don't know how to be blue to eachother.

also since we're all apparently blue to each other, why are the most of the alliances in the eve-kill top20 in the HBC and the CFC, with the vast majority of kills being on members of the other coalition

Because it's fun.

Its like war training for you guys...you know, for when the Providence residents decide they want to extend the Amarr Empire all the way down to Catch. HBC dont want to be out of practice.

The blue donut is best described like this.

The leadership tolerate each other. No one can be arsed to grind sov any more (note: NCDot put something in the water. Their members cant get enough of it). The grunts hate each other, so fights are still plentiful.

Are you trolling or do you honestly believe that the NRDS bloc is a threat to anyone in the game? I mean I'm sure they're a huge threat to N3, but even IRC can brush them aside.

Just because we call 0.0 fairly safe, it doesn't mean everyone is blue, OP. Borderlands tend to be bloody every day, with thousands of ships destroyed in small and large battles. However, as you get deeper into sov territory, this threat diminishes, until you hit systems where nobody will nag you for days. That's where people rat in belts, run anomalies, mine and more, protected by sector-wide network of perfect intel provided in real time.

Tldr: null sec isn't safe because everyone is blue to everyone. Null sec is safe because there are players acting as a defensive buffer for the ratting areas.
