Avoid the Megathron, OP. It's got a place in Eve but it's definitely not level 4 missions.


The Dominix is the one you need. Eventually when you make a decent amount of isk, the Navy Issue Dominix is really an awesome mission boat. Better resists, an extra mid slot, and more hp.

Take it from me, sir; rails and guns are good, but if you fly Gallente and plan to do missions, one of the first things you're going to want to do is get Drone Interfacing to at least IV (V is awesomesauce), and train Sentry Drones ASAP!

Sentry drones are the gallente mission runner's godsend, I can't state this enough. Wardens can hit beyond my target range, and Gardes hit closer than my 425's can track.

Warp in, turn on your tank, launch sentries, sit still, take the DPS like a boss, and watch everything pop. Think of sentries like 5 extra turrets that you drop into space around you: they're right there to recall if they're aggro'd (and with the new mechanics, they will), you can change damage according to the pirate you're fighting, etc.

I can't do T2 sentry guns just yet, but Sentry Drone Interfacing V is up there on my priorities.

tldr; When you're comfortable with your core skills, train a Dominix and Sentry Drones.
