Server status unknown (The socket was closed)

I am getting this error for a week now, when I start the client it gives the server status "unknown" and doesn't let me connect.

I've run pingplotter and it doesn't seem to give any big problems, and I get the correct server info on EveMon and the game launcher.
It's just the client.

Also when I enter my password and hit connect while it shows unknown, it goes "Establishing connection to server" then "Authenticating" and then the error pops up saying "The socket was closed".

Any ideas on how to solve this?

I tried turning off antivirus programs and firewalls. Didn't change anything.
