Not everything needs an app.

A mobile site, however, would be great.

The Eve forums actually look pretty decent on a mobile device actually

However a mobile site would be more than welcome

Currently, it's passable on a full-size tablet but on a smartphone it's terrible. A mobile site would be great. An official app with other features like skill training switching would be even better!

I can make my masterful, well-crafted contributions to this forum just fine from my iPhone. I wouldn't mind a mobile version of the site, as long as one can switch to the desktop version.

Standard Android browser is okay at best. The text box for actually writing a post is horribly laggy for me. Is it any better on browsers other than the Android default?

Surely CCP could make an app that lets you access the game albeit in a limited way, such as you could not leave the station but it would allow you to buy and sell on the market you are in, change and set skill queue, use the contract system and also set up ships with modules. As long as you didnt have the load fo the space graphics an iphone should be able to handle the basics.

Eventually all websites will be created with mobile devices in mind. I don't even have to guess... CCP WILL have a mobile version of all of their websites at some point. They are just slow as hell to implement those kind of things though. I suspect they put a network administrator in charge of their web design. It's an easy mistake to make. Programmers don't know the difference. Remember how long we had that crappy old in-game browser for? Take a look at Entity's site... it was designed for the old browser and in it's time was one of the best in-game sites out there. Remember how long we had the old forums for? You just need to be patient. It's coming. Big smile

It's also works with the iphone/pad browser, the navigation does feel like it was designed for a larger screen, but it works.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

Yeah mobile site is sorta what i meant / the intended use is for mobiles. :)
works/looks fine on tablet browsers.
