Can't connect to tranquility

I am now completely unable to connect to tranquility. I downloaded the patch just fine, the loader shows the tranquility status and number of players just fine. Once I get to the login screen, the server information sits at "checking status" for about a minute, then comes up with the following:

Server: Tranquility
Status: Unknown

I logged in just fine a few days ago, but this started happening all of the sudden. If I try logging in anyway it says "Connection failed: could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."

I tried pinging the server address 87.237.38.200 as the network guide says to, and I get a 100% packet loss. I figured I would try something remote, so I SSH into a machine about 40 miles away, and I try pinging from that machine, also get a 100% packet loss. I tried changing my firewall and clearing cache and everything, but obviously if two machines can't access the server, it can't just be my machine, router, or firewall.

What can I do?

And after hours of playing with this, it just went away on its own. Okay...

EDIT: And it's back again after 5 minutes.

I am having this problem as well. Any help in resolving it would be appreciated.
