The new dev blog about the SCL got me thinking about EVE as an E-sport.

I think EVE in the E-sports scene is comparable to F1 racing in sports and i think it needs a different approach because of that. My ideas are:

- Improve the viewer experience, most players will never play in a tournament match so the viewer experience is in my opinion the most important aspect.
- Focus on the teams, not the pilots. Because the matches can be so complex it's hard to connect with an individual pilot. The teams and alliances will have to be what viewers relate to a bit like a brand.
- Enable the viewers to connect with the teams. skins for ships or T-shirts and hats for the CQ to allow viewers to show their support in game by flying or wearing the team colours could help promote an EVE E-sports scene.

What would you like CCP to implement or change that would make you watch or enjoy more the alliance tournament or the SCL?

I would like to see CONCORD make an entry into the alliance tourney.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
