and THIS is why, no matter how many times I leave, I come back to EVE. the lowdown dirty scumbags who lie, cheat, swindle and steal to get ahead.

And then there are stories about the Goons. A bunch of fun-nutting whackjobs who likely giggle incessantly as they photoshop their enemies into a tableau of bronies, Barney, Teletubbies, and other assorted demented things. They fail at simple things like math, and consequently [temporarily] lose sov over all their space.

Yet somehow when the NC failscaded they managed to stick around along with their ass pirate buddies TEST (who I view as slightly lesser fun-nutting whackjobs, but not nearly as insane as the Goons themselves--and be honest who doesn't love pirating some ass when you're alone in the internet?).

The Goons themselves are led by a bastard, probably sporting a goatee, FIVE monocles (one made from BoB tears, another from NC tears) at the same time, who probably eats babies and enjoys watching fat kids fall down and hurt themselves on youtube.

And probably worships at the altar of Basement Cat every night to boot.

THIS is why EVE is so awesome.

But would I ever trust a Goon?

Always use a secure third party when buying things like cap's etc. Chribba is beyond reproach in this regard.

Also - they are goons - did you seriously not expect them to scam you ?

Pollo thinks that "the transaction" was done through "a third" party so Pollo feels that this makes Pollo approve the use of third person. This was a third party WIN so Pollo use third person. Well, Pollo always uses third person. Pollo approves of Goons.
