CCP player gathering in San Francisco, March 26th

Pilots of important spaceships,

A fair few CCP devs are attending the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco and we'd love to use the chance to meet our players in the area for drinks and banter at the (long limbed) Roe.

The party starts are 8pm and we'll head out for unknown adventures at 10pm. Entry is free of course, and CCP is buying the drinks. The age limit is 21.

The venue has a capacity of 100 people so please show up early to make sure to get in. We'd also like to ask you to sign up on our Eventbrite site. But also let us know right here in the thread!

Devs in attendance include:
CCP Unifex - Executive producer for EVE Online
CCP Seagull - Senior Producer for EVE Online
CCP Soundwave - Lead Game Designer for EVE Online
CCP Guard - EVE Community Developer

Here you can see the Roe on Google Maps and please enter through the side entrance at 10. Hawthorne Street.

Yep, gonna be there most definitely. 21st Amendment makes my favorite Black IPA, they're about 4 blocks from roe. Or any sufficiently seedy place that forms the roots of my hazy memory in The City.

Also, gonna bring a fellow goonwaffe guy/best friend who I met, seriously, playing Internet Spaceships while we were both on the SA teamspeak.

It was awesome, we heard the same ambulance driving by because who the hell used push to talk back then. Then we went to a bar and drank some beers. Instant buddies, all because thoraxes look like.... the things that they look like.

You guys should tweet the Double Fine guys, I know they will be there and they LOVE drinking holy crap all their games are named after bars are you kidding me

You know, I bet a bunch of people signed up their girlfriends or wives. My wife wants to join, she's a hell of a lightweight so it's only like 5 bucks to get her drunk.

I'm trying to spread the word though, I know a bunch of dorks here. How do you feel drinking with people who don't play spaceships anymore but used to? Bittervets and their ilk?

I'll be attending for certain. Will try to drag a few other pilots both current and former along as well. Pre-party at 21st amendment does sound good, def need a good base laid down before any real drinking.

I might be there. I see the fourm post here says that the gathering is on the 26th of March, Yet the ingame advertisment for this event says the 22nd of march, when i went to the eventbrite it says the following :

I would totally love to come, but I do not have the transportation to get there from Sacramento on whatever day this event is supposed to be. Promo is so incorrect.
