I've recently been wardec'd by a griefer alliance in gallente space. My corp is a week and a half old and my members fly frigates and destroyers. we're now up against small T3 gangs (8 being the most at one time) The amount they want to end the war is pretty low and I'm convinced they will just dec us again after payment is made. Is there anyone out there that can help us?

Good time to learn how to survive in a war, before anything expensive is on the line.

Yeah, this war has its benefits for sure, I just don't wanna see my corp die after 9 days because of a group of griefers picking on the little guys.

From what I heard you can have all members leave your corp and just be allies to the corp until the enemy gets tired of paying for the wardec.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

But that's an ideal situation!
You are using cheap ships while they are using very expensive ones.
You know it's not that hard to kill T3s with frigates/destroyers. Just fit some suicide gank catalysts/thrashers and go get some T3 kills.
Of course you will be loosing a lot of ships but keep in mind that those will be very cheap. Even if you manage to kill a single T3 it will be worth it.
You would be surprised how much damage can those low level ships piloted by newbies do.Twisted

What are you going to do? Run missions all the time?
Well now it's your chance to actually do something fun and meaningful.
Just show that you have some paws.Blink

PS.
BAW is not a real alliance, it's just a couple of guys/gals.

Says the dude who does nothing but hemorrhage Proteuses.

This war went down because the CEO here was spouting off in local about how his corp was full time PVP, so we tossed in a dec without even looking hoping for a fight. Once the war kicked off, we saw they were small and gave them a incredibly low ISK offer to get out (which comes with forced peace of two weeks via the surrender offer). Besides which, we wouldn't have wasted our time with an offer if we were planning to come after you again - we'd just kill you until your corp dissolved.

But feel free to bring in help. Chances are, we've both fought and beat the group you plan to bring in.

Request assistance.

I can't stress this enough: griefer alliances are very quick to retract wars if there is an actual fight going on. If people see that there are T3s on the line, you'll have a line waiting to help you, because T3s in high sec are pimp fit (I know I fly a 3-bil Proteus, and I constantly upgrade it).

At the very least, it puts the griefers on notice that they aren't getting what they want. Plus, you can team up with your allies to snag some juicy kills.

Fight back. Never let the griefers push you around. CCP has made alterations to war dec mechanics for just such a scenario, so use it.

Leadership is something you learn. Maybe one day, you'll learn that.

You should look into my alliance a bit before telling this dude that we are quick to retract wars with actual fighting. We put out a dozen decs a week looking for fights, and when we find a group that does, we tend to stick around for a few weeks and spend some quality time with them.

In general though, what you said is pretty sound advice.

1) Why so aggressive?

I just said that you are not a real alliance because when you say "alliance" you normally mean something big ( in terms of member count ). Your alliance has 17 members ( probably including alts ) so you can't be really considered an "alliance" can you. That was not meant to be offensive in any way but apparently you missed that.Roll

2) Are you saying that encouraging newbies to actually fight instead of covering in fear is a bad thing?
3) What does this character's killboard has to do with anything? It's quite obvious from the fits that this is a pve char? What was your point?

FYI if you submit a surrender offer and we accept it we can't declare war on you again for at least 14 days.

Also, if you think we are mean people who're griefing you for no reason you should go and ask Mawentrogg Mumie about why we're at war right now.

1) We apparently have very different metrics for what qualifies as a "real" alliance. I judge in terms of competency, not in size (you can ask the multiple 500+ man alliances that we've decimated how our time together went).

2) I actively encourage new players to fight and get into full time PVP. I was simply pointing out all of the facts in this situation.

3) I can only judge the competence of the character you post with.

4) I was addressing the OP, not you.

Your corp is named Execute With Extreme Violence, and you're trying to carebear through a wardec?

You may want to rethink your business plan.

It's not about competency itself ( although I agree with you that size =/= competency ).
For me you are just a small corp comprised of four other small corps, which isn't implying anything in terms of competency or abilities. It's just my 'technicality' fetishTwisted

Fair enough.

If I would have been making claims requiring strong foundation in kb's you would have a point. This is not the case however so it was not necessary. Of course in this case it's all about our differentiated perceptions of the term 'alliance' so let's just leave it at that.

LOL - from your own corp description you advertise "Pvp training and low cost pvp roams."

Well, training is in session...
