That would be me. However with dual training I may find something to do with that.

Paid for 9 accounts with real money for years. Sometime after the company turned hostile I switched to plex. I understand they actually make more money off plex than subs, so I only plex one account. I've found that my over all quality of life has improved during the time I've only used 1 account to occasionally PVE. Traded the excitement of PVP for real life and I still get to fly interent spaceships when there's nothing else to do.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

I see that as a problem. not with you, but with the game.

At this point in time, I think if you expect to survive in eve you should at least have a minimum of two accounts.

in my case I do, I am an avid pvper and pve, but as you can see i am in a 100percent PVP alliance and with the exception of legio and engarde, this has always been the case.

i cant jumpclone/deathclone my main to low/highsec just to rat or yadda yadda, I like my main to be down i null with the rest of hte guys fighting duders, so my other account handles everything else on the pve side. because I have two accounts, i literally utilze every aspect of eve , without that second account I would have a hard time playing eve.

1 account, 3 toons
1 main (you're looking at her)
1 smuggler alt for those loads that I don't mind losing sec status over
1 placeholder char for that friend that "swears" he's never coming back to eve (pfft, like I believe that)

I did two accts in the beginning, but for someone who doesn't multibox? Complete waste of sub money...

I do everyday with just this one, but since training two characters on same account is coming out soon I'm going to train a cov-op scanner, blockade runner and logi alt. Thanks for that CCP Cool

Been playing with a single main character, no alt accounts.

When you have a great and close knit group of buds and haul/scout/help eachother, alts kinda seem like imaginary friends for you main Lol

Nerf stabs/cloaks in FW? No, just.. -Fit more points -Fit faction points -Bring a friend or two with points (an alt is fine too)

I used to have two subbed accounts... I think the first year I played EVE I started with 1 account, somewhere in there I opened two... and then the economics of it got a bit much to sub two for what I was doing, and PLEX was an option... because then PLEX was cheaper than the sub really... anyway... at one point I had 6 toons... 2 mains 4 alts... then...I figured out alot of my toons where crap, I was don't alot of things wrong, I had SPs all over the place and none of my toons did anything very well... and I was battleship mining on tops of that...LOL... *cringes*...

TIME TO START OVER...

So... BIOMASS... on mass...

Then I did the following, I made one toon, I decided to try EVE from a different point of view, as if it where an alter ego of myself... I actually look very much like my toon in real life... minus tatoos and the scowel... and I am a bit more olive in tone...lol.

I gave this toon a latinized version of my name and the name of my favorite philosopher to read... you figure it out on which is which, but I am Italian so... there is a clue.

Then I said, it makes not much sense to train more than one toon (at least to me) I would rather do everything well then do it with alts... I don't need really (for my play style) any alts (but I do have one now... I was going to do FW with a buddy but that never worked out... but she's a hot toon with huge bolt-ons... so I keep here if for nothing else as "eye-candy" when I log in...lol.

I work this this main, and I post with this main... and well I rank at the moment on EVE boards as 315 in online time and 216 daily average so I must play alot... but yea, I do, it's a valid play style and honestly I find it a bit more fun then having a bunch of alts... it's perhaps more of the real deal... and it's easy to PLEX, and so on... there are alot of benefits to solo toonage, just as there are to having alts, I think personally its just how you want to play the game... but lets face it, you never can really lose in EVE... you can have set backs... but as long as you clone is up, you can't lose SPs... and the reset is replaceable, with time, effort, or for some a credit card...lol.

I just got my first alt accounts (Galaxy Chicken and Galaxy Mule) with the last round of CCP's 'Start a Sidekick' promotion at the beginning of this year. When I went to fanfest 2012 I only had one account, and it blew a couple people's minds.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

One account/character here. Used to have an alt but its been inactive for...2-3 years? Basically never used it the past couple of years before that so it was pointless to keep paying for it Smile

Yes.

I used to have two accounts, this was my alt account. The main account was banned back in 2008, and I keep hoping CCP will relent and un-ban it.

In their defense, I did something stupid; I can't really accuse them of being unreasonable, only unforgiving. Heh, one could say that if I'm still hoping for a reprieve five years later, I'm the one who's being unreasonable :)

ive been playing eve with just one character since 2007. this is my forum alt, and occasionally i'll scout with him to make a risky jump. i do everything on my main: plexing, L4's, FW, and nullsec.
