Playing with only one account. There is so many problems arising from enabling your players to have more than one that it's silly.
It's obvious CCP just want the extra cash and I don't blame them. But if they aren't careful their policy is going to ruin the game for a lot of people. For some it already has.

I only have the 1 main account active now, its possible to move just about anything sub cap around in lowsec if you carry your pvp fit in cargo hold while having a travel fit fitted and of course using your head by checking the map intel. Its not as efficient as using 2 characters 1 being the scout but still its possible especially if you're in a corp with people that can provide intel.

Kicked my roughly 10 alts from corp/alliance in the last few days.
Don't need them.

This former alt is now my only toon, and i love it. Generally live in c4+ Wh's. Approaching that 50 mil SP point, so i can usually take care of whatever i need. (if anyone is looking for a solid WH pilot, i ended up having to leave a shiny C4, and am looking around)

I am all for less alts and more player cooperation, in and out of corp, Need a hauler? Try interacting with someone that happens to be a hauler. I am not 100% anti alt, and it is tempting to start training a fresh toon via odyssey, that i someday can move to a second account, but i think it kills part of the immersion/player interaction.

Also i remember when i was young, on my old main, many many years ago...and most of what i did in corp was hear " hold up while i get my alts in position" so much that i felt like a burden, or that they could accomplish the goal on their own without me. I try to never put younger players in this position. There is always plenty to do, and there are so many directionless pilots out there dieing to get into something other than missioning and derping around in hubs. Using and interacting with them is so much more beneficial to me, to them, and to the verse in general, than me tri-boxing. Fewer corps and more interaction is where its at.

I would love to find a way to have toons with some sort of Admin password, that would restrict certain changes/moving of assets and the like. I could then give a solid toon to a younger human pilots and have human alts :]

Yes, one char. I tried the alt thing for a while, but the multitasking made the game feel like more of a job than a game. I like games better.

For my first two years in Eve I never had any alts, only this toon. I only created an alt to train for FW so I could check out orbital bombardment (rather than grind this one's sec status up)
Created a hauler alt eventually but don't really ever need her, so she collects dust with 300k SP.

Playing with only one toon, especially as a pirate outlaw, added alot of depth (and difficulty) to Eve. So I purposely avoided alts to get around my sec status. No longer a pirate so it matters less and less as this toon can go back to high sec. I was just 'cooking' my FW alt so I could jump right in once Dust got launched. Hope to bomb some fools from space soon.

So yeah, I have alts- but the two I use have nothing to do with each other. One is my main out in null sec, the other is just some militia pubbie. Never the two shall meet.

yes and no i played for a few years with one account tell someone talked me into makeing a second account. Unlike other MMO's Training a second chr on the same account is not possible (at least tell june when u can plex 30 days of dual training. We wont even go there on that one.) So yes its doable but if you wanna be able to do 2 things at once say mining and moving your own material its easier to do it off 2 or 3 accounts.) Or even pi one account and sit in 00 in another and gate camp. (always fun)

One account, that's why i like the dual training coming in Ody, interaction with your second account character to get ahead means he´s called Master Bates in a MMO

already dead, just haven´t fallen over yet....

I did. For about a year and a half. Works fine really. People complain there is a lot of stuff you can't do if you don't have an alt but that's rubbish really. In the end I got mine just for a cyno and to be able to train industry and PvP at the same time.

I occasionally use Power of 2 to temporary train up an alt, but I always dispose of it after the 6 months is up. I much prefer to focus on my main.
