To those who say we cannot be beat. You are right.

You cannot beat us because you hamstring yourselves with self made rules. You put yourself into a box of your own making. Your refusal to act can only lead to one place, total defeat, demoralization and rage.

You live in a world that does not exist, even in Eve. You think highsec is a place where you can take a 200 million ISK ship, park it in an icefield, turn on your lasers, and then go do the laundry. You actually think you will return 30 minutes later to find your ship unmolested and full of ice. And when you find out this world of yours doesn't exist, you don't adapt, you don't change, you don't buy a mining permit for 10,000,000 ISK, good for one full year. No, you demand that the world change to match your rules.

We use no exploits, we break no terms of the EULA, we don't use ships or fittings unavailable to you. We don't even use all the highsec nerfs you miners have demanded and received to highsec pvp. The nerfs whose main benefit has been to the bots and afk miners who, in the old joke, win Eve by not actually playing.

What we have that you don't have is what ensures we will win. We have The Code. We have one central idea around which everything we do revolves. Bumping, ganking, Awoxing, forum posting, local chat, and of course, www.minerbumping.com all are guided and powered by the New Halaima Code of Conduct. The Code takes a large, diverse group of Eve players and forges us into a fist that has exploded the misconceptions of the highsec miners. The Code shows the massive population of individuals that constitute highsec mining that they will not prosper alone.

So, what can you do? You can do what you've always been told you can do. Buy a permit, follow The Code, support the New Order and you can gather your resources generally unmolested by us. You cannot afk anymore, you cannot bot. But you can still mine your ice and ore and watch your ISK pile up. Why you want to do that is, of course, still the mystery only miners seem to understand but you can do it.

I leave you with one last thought. Really more of a question. Why, when the Knights of the New Order gank a Mackinaw in an ice field, do the rest of the miners not immediately leave but instead, just keep right on mining? Think about that one.

By choosing to mine in New Order systems, highsec miners have agreed to follow the New Halaima Code of Conduct.  www.minerbumping.com

I know for a fact that people go mining to pay for their PLEX and I know that ganking miners pays nothing. Do you want to tell me where the ISKs for all those new accounts are coming from?

What pray tell do you suggest?

Move on? - yea, right... that's surrendering to the griefers. Might as well cancel my subscription and find another game.
Fight back? - well, I tried and got CONCORDED for my effort, and lost a bit of standing.
Wardec? - That's a joke, The COWARDS just sit in station and use alts to continue the griefing. It's a shell game, a snipe hunt, and attempting to chase them just encourages them. They use disposable alts in cheap ships to terrorize and harass the industrialists.

The Game mechanics are in their favor....

The Bullies, Griefers, and general pond scum of humanity have effectively won this game.

Congrats CCP you have taken a promising game and made it a cess pool.
I'm done, and no you can not have my stuff... most of it is gone anyway.

Have Fun people, I have a life outside of EvE, I don't need to spend my money on this crap.

This guy complains about broken game mechanics, the truth is, he couldn't be bothered learning those mechanics and when it caused him to lose 2 ships, he cried like a baby.

He's probably one of the people who thought that ganking was easy - he tried it with no preparation whatsoever and then got roundly spanked by Concord and the New Order agent he tried to gank - I believe she delivered the coup de grace with a civilian gatling autocannon.

A little later, he undocked in a mining ship without thinking that he might have just provided someone with a killright and that they might be prepared to use it against him. Our quick thinking agent dispatched him post haste.

During a convo where we tried to help this individual see the error of his ways, his 80 member Corp decided to declare war on our Agent's 8 member corp and bully them into submission. When they cleverly evaded both he and his corpmates during the following week, I guess he felt that his only recourse was to pack up his things and go.

The New Order is about people who care about Eve, who care to learn the mechanics of the game and who care to help others learn how the game works too.

Fact for anyone reading, Whitehound is one of the people who got blown up by yours truly and a fleet of New Order gankers earlier this year, I think I was just under one month old when I got the KM on his Mack, purely luck of the draw but lots of fun nonetheless.

The pod kill that followed just had to hurt, so if you're wondering why this gentleman has such a thing for the New Order, that might explain it.

I guess nearly four years playing the game isn't enough to teach you not to go AWOL when you're undocked, no matter where you are.

For any new players reading this who would like to learn how to get in on a kill like this, see the Miner Bumping gank page, then come find us wherever we may be and join in the fun!

I'm feeling generous, and, waiting on my EVE computer to get fixed, so, some tips!

That kinda won't work, just due to the tactics used. We tend to bring a whole fleet of suicide ships, land directly on top of the target from a handy warp-in, then melt them within 3-4 seconds with antimatter. Might get a secondary depending on DPS brought, then we just hang about, get concorded, and escape our pods.

You're thinking EUNI combat, where people fly around and do the ECM and linger. New Order combat is direct and fast. -5, you either warping, shooting, or podding back home.

The ways to beat new Order have been mentioned already..and I'll add another one. Make friends. We get entirely too many warp-ins/intel from other miners ratting out targets in belts.

So if I super thermal/kinetic tanked a mining vessel and had someone send out the "warning" while preparing to move in the sniper ship or counter gank squad, it would still not work? :p ...though on the other hand, I suppose it'd be a question of how many times I could get away with it if it did work...

Just do it. See what happens, if it works, great, you'll get a hearty "gf" from us in local. If not, learn, adapt and have another go.

You're not the first to try, by the way, but maybe you're smarter and more determined than the rest.

Which, quite frankly, wouldn't be hard.

I welcome your involvement.

I didn't.

I am curious as to why it matters?

If it is an active subscription it is an active subscription.

Some people may finance it by paying subscription fees directly to CCP, others may buy ETCs, others might do GTCs, some may use PLEX. They have all of the same options that anyone else who plays EVE has.

It would work, you would probably survive the gank. But tbh, I really can't see miners ever going to fit any sort of tank apart from what they think they'll need for belt rats. Infact, I've never seen a random gank victim with a tanked barge/exhumer.

You need to ask yourself why it matters. I was joking when I said "One cannot just leave the task to anyone."

Say, why do you take the responsibility on you? I doubt you feel guilty or responsible for players quitting...
