I'm with you there mate.

I'm trying to get some folks together to try and counter the fanaticism and get rid of this regime, it's just tanking with a new name. They don't just target AFK miners. I know people who paid the stupid mining pass charge and still they get bumped or ganked.

It'll start with miners, then mission runners then people having to pay to dock/undock.

This "New Order" is a cancerous entity, first Halaima, then it'll spread to adjoining systems and so on and so fourth. I am going to be fighting this anyway I can, but not asking for the game to change.

Going be a fun few months :)

Do you really think that someone who wants to mine all day, is going to go through the all trouble of organizing a defense?. The amount of work involved in organizing the defense, compared to offense, is not really favoring the defenders. In the end the reward is to be able to mine in relative peace, hardly seems worth it.

If i was a hi-sec miner i would also quit, fighting back is just not worth it, and there are other games where you can "mine" without having to pvp.

When The New Order shows up, all miners in the area should just leave. Leave and mine somewhere else.

Staying put just adds fuel to the fire and helps their goals to be achieved as you are popped and/or pay their extortion fee.

They can be bored into non-existence through apathy and avoidance if the miners involved would set their Cheetoh bags down and actually do something different for a change.

There are a fair number of new accounts that are subscribing just because of the New Order of Highsec. Heck, there are even brand new players to EVE Online because of the New Order of Highsec.

I don't know which has caused more of a change to the number of EVE subscribers: those theoretical miners unsubscribing or the New Order players subscribing new accounts.
