What exactly does that mean in EVE terms?

When someone says I have X amount and also X amount liquid.

Thanks

Think this means readily available funds. Probably referring to cash or other assets that may be converted into cash instantly.

Different from NAV i.e. net asset value, which is your total worth. Thus someone may have a NAV of 100b, with 10b of it liquid.

Any colour you like.

It's what is in your wallet.

So you can have 50 B worth of ships but only 500 M in wich case you got 50B assets and 500 M liquid.

Thanks for the answers, so I'll just go with the ISK in my wallet for 1000. Uh..sounds like a term that was invented for no reason whatsoever.

I also love coffee but beer is my favorite liquid.

Depends on where the beer comes from ... coffee on average is better then beer on average .

Also i hate using '' , '' so i use a lot of '' ...'' one can never have too many dots in a sentence .

Coffee is good, that's true.
But... erm... Beer wins every time!

For those who like beer, try Duvel.

I'm not totally useless, I can be used as a bad example.

The isk in my wallet isn't so much liquid, it's more like some droplets or a fine mist ;)

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Well - It has a very valid reason. I look only at my liquid ISK, when I look at new trade options, or when I want to buy new shiny stuff. I cannot invest the same ISK twice - Shame :D

When people ask how rich you are - They want to generally know have much you have made over the year. Ships, stuff, chararctors and all the other stuff.

When you ask how much liquid ISK you have - They want to know how much ISK you have, that is free to use (often your whole wallet, unless it's need for something else). This can also include ISK you got on other charactors you have. Corp/Alliance wallets you can use from, unsold blue loot, and so on.
