Its the solar system Halaima that some crazy nut has messed up, making miners pay to mine under threat of being harrassed with bumping. Claiming himself to be the savior of high sec by ganking ships because he see's them as enemies.

The kickstarter is to see who'll sign up to fight against it and start bringing the fight to them.


As for the alt, makes things easier for me talk without reprisals for trying to plan anything.

Fair enough on the holiday, I'm just looking to help some friends to what they want and blow up ships whilst doing it :)

If all this does is inspire some miners to take up arms and start shooting back I've helped the cause. On a bonus point I'll get to shoot stuff with friends :)

I hope this resistance effort pans out better than the last six. Exactly what James 315 advocates for, multiplayer activity and content generation in the sandbox!

Taking ISK bets though, that this one falls apart with the usual "They won't undock with -5 sec status and e-bushido 1v1s!"

This will likely just end in tears, but good on you, OP, for trying to do something about this in game instead of pissing and moaning for CCP to save you. Hope you and whoever you recruit have fun, no matter how it works out Big smile

Dont know if they have tried but you could see it being the next action when the miners have decided it's not worth the effort.

As for the person who invested the money well what can I say, that's your choice, I'd much rather have people with me and helping then 100m ISK.

I started this game 6 years ago as a miner, set up a corp and when we got decced by a corp who said we can't use and i quote "their" system, I rallied all of the 7 members at the time into frigates, cruisers and a battleship and we fought, taking a battleship and battle cruiser down. Yes we lost everything, noobs at the time playing shoot the bad guys, but the dec got retracted that night. So I know I'll probably loss more than I'll take down and I don't care. it's something to do that's fun at least.

Yeah it's my right to use an alt, easier to set things in motion without the fanboys and friends trying to shake me down to get me to stop before I've started.

And anonymity is fun, am I in Halaima now, am I already targeting a new order ship, I could be anyone. Half the fun is trying to guess. And it's fun to see people say he's hiding behind an alt shield, burn him!!!!

Yeah unless I get some big hitters it's going end badly for me but I like ships blowing up, better than ship spinning, and doesn't make me want to jam my head in a wall like missions. I got nothing to lose of any worth, ships in game aren't worth anything to me. I don't want CCP to do anything I love the game how it is, I just want to help divergent gameplay along and try to have fun doing it.

Plus first they'll try control mining, then missions saying you need to pay a personal access tax, then an docking pass. So if people keep accepting the stuff instead of fighting for there chosen path in game it'll keep getting worse.

See me as anything you like, that's your choice, but I see a lot of folks sending me mails, mostly probably spies trying to find out more info, but some small mining corps and individuals are already pledging support and so far it's gaining a bit of movement, but every journey starts with a first step, and this is ours.
