[Video] - First attempt (small gang pvp)

Hey guys, I figured I would try my hand at making a video - 16 minutes long, mostly frigs with a sprinkling of cruiser and BC.

Tormentor, Incursus, Myrm, Thorax, Ishkur, caracal, slicer

Links are used in some fights - loki/legion and black box on bottom tells what is going on

First of all, it's awesome that you're making videos. More videos are always better. However, there are definitely some areas that you could use some help with.


You need to start thinking about the kinds of PvP that you enjoy doing in regards to how to make it looks the best visually. If you are going to be a doing a lot of module management heavy brawling ****, you don't need to be zoomed all the way out. Even though that is the best way to actually pvp, visually, it gets boring as f*ck. Go watch some of Kovorix's Everlasting I & II; Gigolo Jo's V.Ex.O.R. or Drone Harassment; or pretty much anything by Prometheus Exenthal to see what I'm talking about. Their videos are awesome to watch becuase you can see what is going on in the main screen.

The second thing that I would advise would be to SPEED IT DAFUQ UP. You should have your footage going at 2-300% speed, maybe even more. Look at how Kil2, Kovorix, or Freshclips do it. PvP in eve is intense as **** when you're doing it, but it really doesn't look that intense when you're watching it at full speed.

Yea, someone else told me to zoom in, i will ully attempt that next time. and ill try to speed it up a bit as well. Thanks for the imput, I really wanna get better.

Yeah, speed the video up.
Otherwise some good fights, didn't see all of them though. Kinda 'meh' at that speed.

Try to use a better font + color. Search for "free fonts" in your favorite search engine, there are lots of them out there.

Good Video overall. I agree with the text changes....just the colors really. You did forget about your single drone though in the incursus...dont' know if you noticed it or not (didn't really read all the other comments)....and a personal note, not a fan of most of the music....FFDP and Pendilum were nice touches though =D
