Advice on which racial blockade runner

Was talking to a few folks about gate camps, someone mentioned they had a very good setup at their gate and only a well skilled Crane could get through, others could be basically insta locked with boosting and podded.

Well I am looking for the best transport ship that can get through just about any low sec gate camp, if there is one that can do that better I would like to hear about it.

Thanks!

With a gate camp like that, your cloak will save you, or you will die (often comes down to lag). They all have cloaks, so they're all as good as you're going to get. The minmatar one will align faster though, so if they try to decloak you you'll be better off in that.

They all work.

Crane isn't the best. Overall, it's the worst.

Amar has the most lows - either cargo or align speed. You'll want the later most of the time.

Minmatar has 2 highs - useful in whs, you can fit both cloak and a prober.

Very useful information, thank you.

That's pretty much the long and the short of it. Crane is great if you need the second high and it aligns very quickly if configured for it.

Prorator has the best potential max cargo or the best align speed depending on configuration.

Viator, along with the Prorator, can hit the magic 10k mark on cargo (packaged cruiser size) without using T2 rigs. It also opens up the Iteron V, but only until May.

The Crane is kinda crap as it doesn't align that fast, doesn't have the second high, and requires T2 rigs to hit 10k. But I suppose it opens up the Charon? Except not after May.

In any case, any of them do as well as any others in low sec. Either you get the cloak or you don't, and the only thing that determines that is a server tick (assuming both parties are on their game and not lagging).

Am I right in that after May you only need racial industrial to 3 and advanced spaceship command?

To train freighters, yes, racial industrial 3 and ASC 5. The Iteron V will be available at Gallente Industrial 1.

Although I expect to get that awesome itty5 cargo space you'd still want industrial at 5

Obviously. At 1, your looking at a 6300 m3 cargohold with no fittings. That goes to 32284 m3 with expanded cargohold IIs and cargohold optimization Is. At 5, it's 7500 m3 unfit and 38433 m3 fit the same way. 6200 m3 is nothing to sneeze at considering it's higher than the base cargohold of a blockade runner.

It's not the whole 4 levels, but rather lvl5 that's not worth the training time. I want my industrial lvl5s refunded.P
