It happens P look at the New Order, we're not Goons (well most of us anyway), therefore we're pubbies, we're just organised pubbies.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I like this James315 guy. He causes cusses in game and giant walls of text out of game. Now if only the people who want him gone would expend the energy they put into their rhetoric into actual gameplay. But that would mean they would have to do more than 9 mouseclicks per hour, 11 if they release drones.

No Book 2. I don't plan to go tit for tat with James or others in the forums. I'll let our actions speak for us. A little planning is needed before we go public, but things are in the works.

i.e. Stay tuned.

I personally don't even think this is a real attempt at a thing. Most people trying to start some kind of movement at least find other like-minded lunatics so they can howl at the moon together so it seems more legitimate. This idiot is all by himself.

The best solution to combat James 315 and his band of fanbois is simply to ignore them. They will get bored if they don't get the attention they are seeking.

Though James and his cult were the subject of my original post, the attacks I speak of are not limited to merely one organization. They are simply the loudest. Miner ganking is becoming an increasing threat to the High Sec Industrialists' way of life, so it is time to stand firm. The longer we wait, the worse this problem becomes.

I'll just leave this here

Quote:
Directly from the CSM minutes from December 2012 (http://community.eveonline.com/council/transcripts/2012/CSM_CCP_Meetings_December_2012.pdf) "For reasons that are left as an exercise to the reader, Exhumers are now blowing up at historically low rates."

Miner ganking is actually less of a threat than it ever has been, because exhumers are exploding less than ever before.

I'm hoping for another hulkageddon, if only so that the OP can see what happens when people go all out to gank miners and their support network. His long winded call to arms is based on a fallacy.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Seeing that this is a rant, shouldn't it be locked like the one from Psychotic Monk of the same nature? See, more favoritism being shown to the carebears from CCP.

It is for this reason that I am announcing a new alliance. This alliance will stand for the rights of all Industrialists in New Eden, beginning with our High Sec Industrialists. We will band together to protect each other from the terrorism of the New Order cult, and fight for our right to exist in New Eden.
I hope you succeed. If carebears had done this day one instead of demading gameplay mechnic changes, everyone would respect them instead of looking at them as pathetic whiny children.

Of course, the smart money is on absolutely nothing happening.

A theme park is by definition not a sandbox. So what you are saying is that if it is a sandbox, having a part that isn't a sandbox shouldn't bother anyone. Sorry, but that's straight up ********.

The same happened during multiple hulkageddons, the hulkageddoneers we're telling the miners how to prevent themselves from being ganked, and they were ignored because they were gankers.

And that's why any coalition in hi sec for industrialists will never come to fruition.

The real problem is that CCP does not have any anti - afk function in game. This game is one of the few games I have ever ventured out on that doesn't auto log you out due to an afk timer.

AFK miner's know this and take full advantage of this. CCP fully endorces this game play simply by not doing anything other than promoting more alts :P

So why would CCP do anything to combat the afk mining?

IMHO if there was any intention in making hi sec a themepark multiple stop gaps would need to be enforced.

Limited resources to mine in hi sec by moving more essential materials gatherable only to null/low sec
Implement an afk timer

Shrink the size of the hi sec island dramatically.

Only allow lvl 1-2 or 1-3 level missions in hi sec throwing the rest to low/null

Reduce the quality of items reprocessed/looted from wrecsk in lvl 1-2 or 1-3 missions.

Increase concord response time or just elminate pvp from hi sec.

As much as a sandbox environment EVE is...it is 2 games (not speaking of dust bunnies)

There is hi sec and there is non-hi sec. If CCP's intention of making Hi sec friendly for new players then make it friendly for new players, but give no incentive for veterens to live in hi sec.
