i heard this is easy can anyone confirm?

join channel 'locates are us' on an alt
wait for someone to request a locate
have main drag name of person in another chat to another alt
have alt#2 msg the person
wait til your wallet shows the 5 mill locate deposit
laugh at the sucker and wait for the next guy

There are reasons wjy you should actually get a stable of locators that you have worked with before. And you should actually ask any. Locator you do get to speak up in channel before handing isk over.

I am half working on a tool that will remove the scamming entirely. If it gets out of hand.

I can run a locate every 4-5 minutes if I'm in a hurry and in the right area of space. So about 60 mil an hour if the demand is there. And it is usually feast or famine. Nothing for hours followed by five guys demanding 2-3 each.

So it isn't as abysmal as you'd think. But not quite incursion isk.

I use that channel a lot... and i mean a lot.

I get the 5 mil scam once in a while and i wonder what the point is really? 5 mil is nothing and at best some guys get maybe 3 or 4 people before they are banned. Sometimes lucky if they get 2.

It is not mad isk it just sad isk if people try to kill the one thing that helps others get kills.

Yeah... i prefer using locators of my own. 5M is a small amount, but i tend to use about 100 Locators a day, that's an easy 500M.

I recommend not doing pvp that requires locator agents

Step one, stop pretending you're a bad bad pirate while living in high sec.

I only take advice from people that have more kills than I do... and even then only if 80% of kills are not frigates.
