Are you still trying to scam people into buying fake CCP pods?

It wasn't a scam, I am sure I worded it correctly. They are (were) real pods. They were not misrepresented. Thus not a scam.

Edit-
2 years ago I didn't try to sell them, I did sell them.

You scammed people into believing that it was indeed a capsule that originally belonged to CCP Claw, among others. This was done through creating an alt, renaming the capsule on the alt, joining your corp, then reprocessing the alt. Thus, you ended up with capsules named CCP Claw's Capsule, Chribba's Capsule, and others. Yes, it was a capsule, yes, it was named CCP Claw's Capsule, but no, it never belonged to CCP Claw. If you had properly informed players of this, you never would have gotten bids.

He should be commended for supporting the spirit of this fine game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not condemning you for it, but it was indeed a scam.

They aren't CCP pods and you sold them on the premise that they were pods belonging to devs. That is as much a scam as people giving money to get into GoonWaffe.

Edit: Constructive wording doesn't make it any less a scam. I did the same crap for years for a living, they call it sales and marketting.

I wonder, if one were to undock in a pod and then biomass the character, would that leave an empty pod floating in space? What about ships with biomassed characters in them?

Everyone has a different view I guess of what constitutes a scam. Do to the specially nature of capsules it made it look like a trade window scam. That is what all the confirmations are about, none of which are my alts.

So as far as being sneaky in my marketing practice yes, but in my personal view not a scam. I only consider the bait and switch scamming. Or using the big number factor over charge and try and make it look like million instead of billion.

So gray area Twisted. Some of my sales are LOL sales, and priced high because of the time investment, like my 5,000 rookie ship fleet. When I fulfilled an order for 1,000 rookie ships in trade for 250 million and a hulk a friend called me a Ferangi.
