Today between 2:30 am and 3:00 AM i was mining ice in a retriever. I had 3 warrior scout drones in my bay. Then 1 rat showed up. He was 10km away from me. So i undocked my drones, targeted the rat and told them to engage. Upon engagement all 3 drones fired once at the enemy and then... poof 1 of the drones was gone while the other 2 where still engaging. In the drone overview window it said that 2 drones where in local space and the missing one was in distant space. I could do nothing but abandon it. This is the second time this has happened today. Just wanted to report this in case it's something CCP doesn't already know about.

UPDATE:
After selecting warping to ICE field 1, i start warping and end up in a vacant space, no ice fields to be seen. Funny thing though my 3 missing drones from before where sitting there along with masses of other inactive drones and 2 inactive rats.

I forgot to scan and try to pinpoint the location before warping out.
I hope this info will do in order to fix this bug.
