I just figured I would make a thread to let you all know something that my friends and I already know.

EVE Online is a MMO game made by CCP, hf. Like most other online games, it is made much more fun by playing with friends. Whether you like me or my alliance, or whether you hate us, you have to agree that we have fun! I am pretty sure that most groups that have fun in EVE do so by doing things together. And there is nothing more satisfying and lubricating than alcohol, which serves to bring people of different creeds and different unintelligible accents together to share in a common joy. The next time you log into EVE Online, grab yourself a pint or a liter or whatever other denomination of liquid you prefer.

I don't know if you're still blue to us (the forums is not showing me whether or not you are), but if you are then you should bring your friends to VFK-IV this Saturday. I will be running one of my (in)famous RIFTERSWARM ops, as well as a JAGUAR OP sometime this weekend. Fun times will be had, and I've a fresh batch of Captain Morgan to fuel my rants.

Confirmed. Most fun I ever had was trying to scare up fights in a fail-fit Rifter while imbibing obscene quantities of Oregon microbrews.

The older I get the smaller my bladder becomes, though. Just saying.

I must agree with this post.

Anyone who understands the real resource and game mechanics imbalances that plague this game MUST BE IN A STATE OF TOTAL INEBRIATION TO PLAY IT. Otherwise they wouldn't bother.

Actually my message did not contain even a bit of bitterness or angst with regards to game mechanics, game balance or game design. Please do not imply that it did, and keep your crying about whatever it is that's upsetting you out of this thread. This thread is all about being happy, enjoying the company of friends, and kicking back a cold one.

IIRC I once heard a drunk tolon threatening to sleep with my sister if i didnt listen to him.


I also remember a story from the old forums about a guy getting super drunk, logging into eve and when he came to he was in 0.0 space missing 2 billion isk but had a faction fitted bhaalgorn in his hanger and 3 new kills.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

Not all MMOs are created equal, mind you. Some MMOs you can sip a beer while playing, and be good.

Other MMOs, you need either a case of beer, or a bottle (or two) of your favorite spirit.
