Good evening eve,

Thank you for paying your time and checking this thread. So this is my question:
How many taxes apply when you place buy/sell order. I've made spreadsheet in excel and acording it I am making profit with taxes that I thought apply. I checked my journal and noticed that I get charged again with tax that is nowhere written that applys, it's Transaction tax. I hope you can help me.

Thank you for your time,

Transaction Tax (Sales Tax) and the Broker's Fee are discussed at the page linked below, under the heading "Cost Reduction Skills."

As stated on that webpage, your standings with the NPC corporation and its empire faction also affect the Brokers Fee. There is a handy graph here:

Article said that you get two taxes Broker's Fee and Sales Tax. I couldn't find any info that appears as a transaction tax.

If you're referring to the entries in your journal of type "Transaction Tax", that's the sales tax.

I think my mind got brighter so it's Broker's Fee that we pay instantly. Sales tax is paid when you sell and item, right? So Broker's Fee appears as Broker Fee in Journal and Sales tax as Transaction Tax?
